  1. In Vic yes. They can be chipped and the details can be in the new owners name ( if the pup has owners at this time). Or they can be done in the breeders name in which cas the new owner needs to change the chp details into their name an address and also register e dog with the council.
  2. I just "asked" my 13 year old pugs and 13 year old GSD allof which have bean on a diet of raw, dry and bones their entire life and they Don't have a problem with it. :D
  3. Vaseline is also good for softening any hard bits on fur and also for preventing scalding from runny antibiotic poos.
  4. With my first pug litter I was making my way to my mentors but had to go to the vet to get some oxytocin. The first pup was born in the car, when we got to the vet's she set her up in a room to finish whelping. The reason, she had three student vets and Said this will be the ideal lesson for them.
  5. How about looking for an old wood chip hot water service. My brother used one in his dairy for years.

  8. Have had it once but picked it up very early. It is really hard with pugs because they tend to pant anyway especially early on. And they tend to "grin" anyway. I will give my girls calcium sandoz on their food when they are producing lots of milk just in case.
  9. We are on tank water and it is filtered and treated. Tow bad bouts of Giardia involving all dogs Bought this into action. You should hav seen the filter at change over time

  11. Obviously not enough sleep here. I thought I had posted but actually didn't. Anyway we have babies. 4 black pug boys. Unfortunately one pup was dead and so we needed a c section. 3 live boys.
  12. I think my girl has more than the one seen on the ultrasound. Week 7 tomorrow.

  14. I have had fussy pug. She is much better now though and since she has been speyed she has actually put on weight.
  15. Hi toto, How is your swimmer? Pleased to say both my swimmers are now "runners". They had their final visit to the Accupuncturist/vet today. All good. The first little man was up and walking a few days after his first visit. The second boy was up and walking at about 10 days which was excellent as he was quite bad an I actually thought he might have had deformed bones. Now we have 4 monsters tearing around the place.

The purpose of the Code is to specify the minimum standards of accommodation, management, breeding and care that are appropriate to the physical and behavioural needs of dogs and cats housed in Businesses operating as breeding or rearing domestic animal business The Code of Practice is to be observed by the proprietor, operations manager and all other staff of a breeding and/or rearing business; including all persons involved in the sale of an animal. All businesses must comply with State and local government legislation and permits. The Code is mandatory for: all breeders with 3 or more fertile female dogs or cats that are not currently registered members of an Applicable Organisation, or all breeders who are registered with an Applicable Organisation and have 10 or more fertile female dogs or cats.
  18. Tried the pillow case method Sharon. Didn't work with th flat chest boy. He just screamed....... Takes after Mum me thinks. He is up and walking now. But yes I do believe the majority of the time it works.
