Penny, who is 12, and spayed 4-5 years ago, comes to watch the dogs when we go to dog obedience. There is a little 1 y/o desexed black poodle called Beau who Penny waddles over to check-out, THEN she gets all straight legged, pokes her Westie tail and ears high and does these little tarty-come-on dances around him. She looks about 2 years old :-)

Hi Erny, I have only used around 1/2 the bottle so I can't be sure BUT as I bought one of the double-ended dental picker-thingies from Sway and was using that on Daisy (she is good to do stuff on, so easy to work with) I notice that she had a fair bit of tartar on her canines and some molars. I picked around for a bit then tapped the tartar with the steel handle of the nail clippers (well...they were handy) and the tartar crumbled off. Maybe the product loosens the tartar or maybe I was just lucky. Penny has to have her teeth done fairly regularly as she only has a few on one side and 3 bottom ones at the front, so some of her molars haven't got the corresponding tooth to grind against. She has lost he front teeth from chewing her wire cage when she belonged to a BYB I will continue giving them the product until it's finished and then give an update but I won't be buying it again. (thinks...I must NOT believe all the advertising on dog products)

I have bought a 237ml bottle of EZ DOG Plaque Off which contains Purified water, Anthium Dioxide, Yucca Schidigera, Mint oil and Sodium benzoate...this bottle cost me $24.95 It is the Yucca extract I am after, as it appears to be good for a plaque preventative/remover and also good for digestion, so does anyone know where I can buy some extract or powder I can add to the dogs drinking water?... it seems ridiculous to be adding purified water to their drinking water... I reckon I am paying megadollars for that purified water :-)

There are my three in the photo you took Daisygirl in the Fashions on the Field...they look hot and have their 'We really can't be bothered doing this stuff' faces on Mac peed on the announcer's tent pole on the way out just to prove the point and to show how common he really is. I liked Cassie and her owner and the Peiradise display...neat dogs!

Hi SarahJ88, I see you are at Alexandra Hills...well that's not too far from the vets at Koala Park Vet Surgery-it's just 1k or so south of Koala Park Victoria Point shopping centre/Pattens Big Gun area, it's on the Eastern side of the road just past a retirement home on the Cleveland-Redland Bay Rd. Give them a ring and ask them as they price on the size of the dog...32076041 They are pretty good as vets go, Daisy (Westie) was desexed for $199.60, so you can find cheaper but they are pretty good people and don't give you BS. The ladies at Capalaba Pet Foods recommend them - they go there also :-D

Keepers at the wildlife park initially believed the monkey was named Rico, among seven stolen from the zoo, in May last year. Advertisement: Story continues below A 34-year-old Victorian man yesterday brought a monkey to the wildlife park that he said his friend had bought for him on the internet. "Unfortunately it was a case of mistaken identity by the police," the wildlife park owner John Radnidge said. After a physical examination and an analysis of the monkey's microchip, keepers discovered the returned tamarin was in fact Conchetta. "I can confirm that the animal belongs to Alma Park in Brisbane. It turned up in Melbourne and she's now in our care." "The private individual who had the animal in his care was doing some research on the internet and came across the story [about Rico]. "He flew up in his private plane ... to return the monkey to us yesterday. "We determined immediately that it wasn't our animal. They are absolutely thrilled in Brisbane." Conchetta and her male partner Tonto were stolen from their enclosure on October 9. Tonto was found dead in a nearby housing estate in Dakabin the following day. All hope was soon lost for Conchetta, who was pregnant and not expected to survive outside the zoo. The fate of Conchetta's twins is not yet known. Staff at Alma Park Zoo are overjoyed at the news a spokeswoman said. ‘‘We’ve got goosebumps,’’ she said. ‘‘After all this time we had lost hope of having her back alive. I hope that Daisy's leg has less swelling today Huski but you didn't miss too much not going to Woofstock , it was ok but fairly small and REALLY HOT! The organisers had set up some ginormus fans/evaporative coolers that they filled with icy water so they were pretty welcome. There were some really good dogs in the competitions--(especially the Fashionista-in-the-field...the little guys wore their Tam-o-shanters (with a tiny Westie button on each) and little tartan coats with a little bagpipe hanging off them). They WON FIRST PRIZE Yippee it made up for taking a wrong turn and ending up going through the Clem Jones tunnel The dogs are home resting after their grueling day as fashion tarts There were some really great dogs there. Sorry to hijack your post but I was thinking of Daisy yesterday and wished I could have hooked up with her and you at the meet up point near the gate. Get well soon Daisy

Don't know whose Pei it was Ams, I think he was owned by a dark haired guy in a black T-shirt, the Pei didn't miss the water bowl, he got it dead centre That was a lovely Pei-girl who was a Fashionista, she had on such a summery frock. I really liked the Chinese Crested as well.

Where were you? did you go in the fashion comp? there were a few shihtzu's there I saw GoldenGirl85 and her neat Jack Russell Tessa and her Goldie Lexi and of course the handsome Kyojin

Yep...too hot, lucky I bought water as the dogs wouldn't drink out of the dog bowls, though you couldn't blame them as Mac stood in one to cool off and a Shar Pei left goobs in one, then he lifted his leg and peed in the bowl he had just drunk out of...was really funny

The little guys won the Fashionista contest, they were all dressed up in their Tam-o-shanters and had little tartan coats with bagpipes hanging off...what a hoot! Left the camera in the car but the lovely ladies at the Cavalier booth took some photos (thank you Ladies) here are some photos I took at home just after we finished making them yesterday Mac......................................................... ..................................Daisy And a couple of Penny whose Tam kept falling off :-D

If the ants are still in the bag empty the whole lot out on a tarp layed outside in the hot sun and tip the kibble onto that and move it about so it is just one layer, rake it around every so often and the ants will bugger off. You could also run a blow torch quickly over the kibble trying not to set fire to the tarp :-D and then blow the dead ants away with the vacuum cleaner on reverse....this solution is more fun for you but not for the ants.
