  1. What size/amount did you buy Hesapandabear?...I am interested as I usually buy elsewhere (where the price of Advantix is pretty good)
  2. We need more pictures of Alwyn...and soon!
  3. The ones I ordered are already cut out. I will cut my fingers if I make them myself as I am craft-inept. I did think about it when I saw this site, it has a pattern download http://blog.themodernpet.com/?p=161
  4. I was looking to buy some new tags for the little guys and saw these...it's a site in California (I couldn't find an Aussie site that sells them) You write on them and pop them in the oven and they shrink http://www.arcatapet.com/category.cfm?catnum=255 the postage wasn't too bad...Global Air Mail $7.23 They had an interesting suppliments section...even had some wild Atlantic salmon oil and a suppliment if your dog is fed a vego diet.
  5. I got mine yesterday so it'll be interesting to see if the plaque on Mac's teeth disappears. Daisy has a small amount and Pen is plaque-free (though she has only 3 front teeth, her canines and some of her molars left) It has a neat little spoon doesn't it Oakway
  6. I give the litle guys apples pretty often, I use a corer similar to this, makes it easy as the whole core is cut out and the apple is cut in handy bit-sized pieces
  7. Oi! Jo the Westie has dropped off the end
  8. Apologies if this updated ABC link/video has been posted already...Not impressed at all by the picture behind the news desk person. You can do better than this ABC! http://www.abc.net.au/news/2011-08-18/dog-pulled-girl-from-mothers-leg/2845390 The reporter had trouble saying pitbull cross, seemed to me that she wanted to just say pitbull
  9. I am fond of poddles. http://collectables.shop.ebay.com.au/Animals-/1335/i.html?_nkw=poddle&_catref=1&_fln=1&_trksid=p3286.c0.m282
  10. This is the link to the ABC story...perhaps the reporting is not so sensational http://www.abc.net.au/news/2011-08-17/dog-kills-melbourne-toddler/2844178
  11. Hahahahaha... Westie Andy lost his 'y' in posts 227 and 228
  12. Perhaps this is it rastus_froggy...post #8 http://www.dolforums.com.au/topic/186545-building-better-dogs-seminar-11-feb-2010/
  13. I have changed my 'Mac' to his real name to avoid confusion to Westiemum's Mac
  14. I Googled them...they are like grubby, long, floppy-eared Westies..I love them http://www.google.com/search?q=Glen+of+Imaal+Terrier&hl=en&client=ubuntu&hs=Rsm&channel=fs&prmd=ivns&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=_5tDToOrHe7SiAKt9MW5Ag&ved=0CDMQsAQ&biw=1024&bih=553
  15. Thanks for that, I Googled 'Wheaten specialty show at spring fair' but it appears to be in NSW, is there any in Qld?
  16. Hi Sheridan...I looked on the Ekka Show schedule and there are no Wheaten Terriers, I thought they would be a popular breed (and I wanted to see some :-D )
  17. O poop, perhaps I have blown all my money now.
  18. try this link http://www.lifewithdogs.tv/2011/08/static-dog/
  19. I am drying 6 trays of Herb Robert at the moment (I have a Harvest Maid dryer like the one in the link but mine has only 6 trays!) http://wudhi.com/recipes/equipment.htm If Mac would like some more, and Sheridan, if Grumpy would also like some, (and anyone else who has a demented dog) let me know and I'll send some off. It is chopped stalks, leaves and flowers.
  20. I lashed out and bought some as well. I have been using Aquadent but I don't really know if it works. Mac's teeth are getting tartar on them and he gets a chicken wing or 1/2 turkey neck each day. He is a bugger as he goes ow ow ow ow ow ow ow hu hu hu hu hu if I try to brush his teeth (or brush his feet or wipe the 'sleep' out of his eyes) Hope it works.
