Hi Kepala-ites! The second Sunday of July came around way too fast for me...lol, just wondering if anyone is available on the third Sunday of the month, the 15th of July, instead?? If there's enough interest, I'll book it in! :D

Hi guys, it's just occurred to me that I have a 1st Birthday Party to attend on the 17th, so I won't be able to make it anyway, sorry. If someone else would like to take over the coordination of the event, feel free, but you will need to enquire about availability and book in. Hope you all have a good time if it goes ahead! :) I will hopefully pop back in towards the end of the month to begin planning next month's event to be held on Sunday the 8th of July! Thanks for responding guys! If no one else shows any interest within a few days, we may come up with a new date, or even wait until July to meet again :) Good luck with the shows Evolving! I really wanted to visit all of you at the Spitz and Lappie shows, but didn't realise until last week that they are being held at KCC (for some dumb reason I was imagining Sunbury), and that's a little too far for me to travel at the moment. It's come around mighty quick, since we had May's meet later in the month than usual, but I'm just checking in to see how much interest there is in having June's meet on the 10th, being the second Sunday of the month? Ok, this month's Kepala meet will be held on Sunday 20th of May (the second Sunday of the month is mother's day which wasn't a popular option). Hoping to try for a BBQ again, but that is always dependant of numbers!!! So, people, spread the word, the more the merrier, and it would be great to see some old regulars attending, we used to have huge meets and great fun!! For anyone who does want to come along, there a few things to know: 1. We are going to have fun and let the dogs have fun (this is a big one!) 2. If your dog is not so good with others, it is ok because there are other runs you can use 3. We want ALL the dogs to have fun, so no humping, fighting etc allowed. And as above there are other runs we can use. 4. The more the merrier 5. Not restricted to DOL members 6. $15.00 PER dog (Sorry, but there is no discount for bringing multiple dogs/puppies, its $15 a dog/puppy. Has been this way since we started). 7. BYO drinks 8. We usually each bring something. 9. I am happy for those who do not bring food to pay $5.00 but i need to know how many are not bringing anything so I can make sure we have enough. Contact and Location Kepala Canine Country Club is located next door to Kepala Pet Resort. We are just off the Calder Hwy, directly opposite the Good Year Thunderdome. Refer to map below. Hi Guys, it really saddens me to have to do this, but with a revised list of only 4 definite dogs attending, with 3 people, I've made the executive desision to cancel Sunday's meet. I was really hoping after our great turn-out last month, we may be back on track, but I'm finding it really hard to maintain interest. Having said that, I'm not giving up just yet!!! Next month is always an awkward one, usually being held on Mother's Day, so I will do another poll, and see if we can come up with a more suitable Sunday for that one too. Personally, I used to attend on Mother's Day, but now that I am a MUM, things have changed a little ;) Anyway, sorry to those that were looking forward to Sunday, like us! But, it wasn't to be

Sorry to read Alkhe, Snout Girl and spitzbaby can't attend! Hopefully another time very soon! :D So far we have 6 definite dogs, we really need a few more for our usual booking arrangement, otherwise I'll have to call and see if they can still accommodate us in some way, c'mon guys, it'll be so much fun!! :D

Sorry about that MrRedDog! Hopefully you can join us another time. :) I left it a few more days, and although there hasn't been a lot of interest, Sunday 15th is still the winner, so I have booked that date with Kepala. Thankfully, it was available, and we have secured the pool from 10am-2pm, with use of the BBQ area and other areas within and after that time :D I will create another thread for the official attendance list, etc. Hope to see you there :D

Hi Kepala-ites! :D Had so much fun at Kepala this month, that I'm keen to organise the next one already, but it's just occurred to me that the second Sunday of April is Easter Sunday. I can't attend as we will probably make plans for the long weekend. I thought I'd create a poll to see how everyone else feels, majority rules, so I've left Easter as an option (although still haven't enquired with Kepala). Look forward to hearing from you all!
