I'm with Medibank Private. Haven't had to make a claim yet so don't know what they're like at paying up. I pay just under $120 per month for 4 with $200 excess. Think it's called silver cover.

Hi nixy, my wolfie x girl is quite small, only just over 30kgs. My pure boy is about 70kgs, I'm not sure what he weighed at 10 weeks though. I'll take a stab and say she could be a bit bigger than medium sized How about some pics?

Maybe you could put a couple of strips of electric fence along the top of your current one. I know you said you have the containment collar but in my experience they don't always work ( as you've found out )lol. My guys have only to hear the static hum coming from it and don't go near it. She'd only try to jump over it once and that's all they need. I'm talking about a dog strength zap not a horse or cattle zap!!

RIP Reg ;) Hugs to you Indigirl and Reg's owner -
Bit OT, but in WW rescue thread there is a B/C boy that is desexed (obviously a home job according to ranger ). I couldn't believe it but it seems to be quite common in country areas. I guess if they can get away with that, they can get away with tail docking too. Oh and I just remembered, he's got a stumpy tail too so maybe that's whats happened

Minced Chicken Carcasses As Food For Dogs

Wow! You get a bargain. I pay $1.90 a kilo here and you're right it's always very fresh and doesn't smell at all. I sometimes give mine whole frames too but they don't last very long, about 2 minutes if I'm lucky ! -
OMG ! I do hope your sister's dog turns up WildatHeart but must say it's not sounding good :D God there are some feral people around, hope they get what they deserve if and when they're caught. Makes me sick...and you're right Spottychick, they're not fit to breathe the same air! In fact they shouldn't be breathing any air, they should be shot ! (and even that would be too kind )

Yes, I think the same as you bertandsally. It is hard sometimes to write things the way you'd like them to sound as if you're face to face with someone. I have trouble sometimes and I'm English I type something, read it back and think that doesn't sound right...then start all over again.

and another that says bring him inside

Just caught up with this thread..have been wondering how you've been getting on. So pleased it all seems to be working out (like you say..baby steps ). Well done A brilliant job you're doing ! -
Pretty normal for male dogs I think. Seems to get better after they're desexed. You're right it's very hard to get off tiles and walls

Disgusting

I'm with Medibank too. Pay just under $120 per month for 4 dogs on the silver cover. Excess is $200 and there were no exclusions with giant breeds. Don't know how good they are at paying out though cos I haven't had to make a claim yet (touch wood ).

I have insurance for 4 with Medibank Private. Only took it out about 3 months ago and haven't had to claim yet so don't know what they'll be like on paying up. I pay just under $120 a month for the silver cover with $200 excess per condition.

What an awful situation for you to be in ! I'm no help I'm afraid...would hate to be in your shoes...not sure what I'd do, probably not move but you say that's not an option. Maybe one of your friends or family could take him and apply for an extra depending on the council area they are in, specially as he's an older dog they could say he belonged to their elderly parents or something. Any of your friends live on acreage where no one will even notice an extra ?
