for the past few days i have been scouring the internet for a copy of a book on DDB's, i have already ordered one but the book im really interested in called The Saga of the Dogue De Bordeaux: From the Antique Molossus to the Modern Dogue by Raymond Triquet i have found next to impossible to find, its on Amazon but is not available if anyone knows where i may be able to find a copy i would be very grateful

possibly also a Hungarian Viszla, my in-law has one as his hunting/family dog, she's a great dog

sounds like an SBT (staffordshire bull terrier/staffy) might suit..

a Dogue De Bordeaux later this year, i came here ages ago before i had settled on the DDB and learned tons of things i had never really heard or thought about before, was going to get one from a byb but after easily 1 & a half or so years of research now relise what a big mistake that couldve been ie: with health problems, temperment and such

all pretty much the same as me, family got our 2 family dogs we had through byb's (tradingpost), fed them on pedigree or wat was the cheapest at the time, collars on 24/7 and i had never heard of crate training.. am getting a dog later this year from a breeder i found on this site, will be trying out the barf/rmb's diet when i do as this is wat the breeder feeds their dogs collar will only be on when he/she is walked and will deffinantly be crate training honestly before i found this site i didnt really no much about registered breeders and the differance between them and byb's

lol i have the same problem with my 5 month old APBT pup, first noticed it when he well ahh.... ate human crap at a friends mums place going for a swim in her pool, the mum was away on holidays and locked up the house and my friends 5 yr old daughter needed to use the toilet... bruno was running around exploring and i found him well eating it ;) anyway lol have also found he does it with cat poo as well, so now when his inside i keep an eye on him and keep him out of the laundry
