How much exercise and mental stimulation does he get? He is at an age now where he will have a very high activity level. If he was mine I would try doing some mental exercises later in the evening eg trick training or there are heaps of ideas on the internet. And he is gorgeous.

Gosh that is very sad for the pup and your family. I think at this stage you have to give the fluoxetine time to work. Is this breed normally outgoing? Have you tried to do any basic training? What happens if everyone is out of the house except for the pup's primary care giver?

Do you praise and treat her when she goes outside? Praise needs to be over the top and high pitched so she knows you are excited by her wee on the grass!

How about giving her a special treat when she gets home or doing a fun activity in the yard? To make that part of the journey more exciting.

How about fostering for a group and offering to permanently foster a dog that can't be rehomed due to health issues - they may need to be up for end of life decisions sooner, rather than later. A few Sydney groups do this, where are your parents located?

Did the vet do a skin scraping?

I'd ring the vet to make sure they are dissolving stitches first. If they are, in my experience, they can take quite some time to disappear.

A lot of the seeds off palm trees are toxic so find out what variety it is and do some research. I recall one of the members here having a lot of problems with her dog after consuming some palm tree seeds.

What breed is she? And also, has she been near the succulents or does the palm have seeds? Is she OK if you take her out of the house?

I've had an old dog with suspected idiopathic vestibular disease. He recovered quite quickly and it didn't happen again. He was on Bravecto but I can't remember if the dose was recent or not.

Depending on the area you live, you may find that there is only company you can use. I have quite a few pets cremated over the years. Some I have scattered and others that I will scatter soon. You pay the non PBS price ie, full price for the medication. I've had to do it on a few occasions. Often it works out cheaper than getting them from your vet.

If he is on a farm there could be biosecurity concerns about letting people on to the property. And did you check this person is registered with Dogs Vic or the relevant authority. Some people thing they are registered breeders because they are registered with Council.

I have been told by vets that it is common for dogs to attack other cats and dogs that are having seizures. Have you taken Bob back to the vet for a medication adjustment as having seizures every 7-10 days is still a lot for the poor boy. I can only suggest having the dogs separate when no one is home.

The only thing I can suggest is to set up a little pen for Clive so he can still lie next to your desk etc and be safe from Bobbin.

When my Cavalier was going through her chewing phase I put a dried cow's hoof in the crate for her. She loved it!
