  1. That's exactly what I was going to say! For anyone else that is interested, the gaps under the gates are not small dog friendly.
  2. My Cav had this earlier this year - the ulcer was huge and her eye very swollen. The drops settled hers in a couple of days. As Persephone said, if you can keep her out of bright sunlight (dark rooms are good) and get her to keep her eye closed as much as possible it will help. I would suggest crating her and covering the crate. Good luck with it.
  3. What RSG said. I had the same thing happen to a dog a rescued from a local pound. He went to a new carer who showed his photos at work and one of the colleagues said, that's my mates dog! Poor carer was in a flap so I told her to get the "owner" to ring me. He was very upset at the loss of his dog and didn't know that pounds existed. We had the dog desexed and microchipped and then returned to him, he paid for this and they dog was very happy to see him.

So sorry for your loss Horus. To lose 3 so close together is not fair. Run fast and free up at the bridge Toby.
  5. The article has moved to here for anyone that wants to comment: http://macarthur-chronicle-campbelltown.whereilive.com.au/news/story/pitbull-hand-in-for-campbelltown-and-wollondilly/
  6. I'm so sorry for your loss dogslife. To lose 2 dogs so closely is so unfair. Thinking of you and your family. RIP Nala.
  7. So sorry for your loss Dogslife. She has left you with a legacy of lovely memories. RIP Chantie.
  8. If you put down a thin concrete pad it will serve the purpose and can be broken up easily when you go. Or you could put in wooden flooring.
  9. Is this in addition to Riverland Kennels or do all orders for NSW now need to go through this distributor?
  10. Is it possible to block off their access to that area? That's what worked for my dogs.
  11. The AWL course was only one day and as I was travelling up it was easier to do.
  12. The only places that I found that run them are Richmond TAFE and AWL around the Hoxton Park area.
  13. I am so sorry for your loss JulesP.
  14. That's a wonderful tribute. I'm so sorry for your loss Cockerlover. She has left you with some wonderful memories.
  15. Interesting! Mine have been barking, breaking plants and digging holes. Can I blame it on the food?
  16. There are a couple of people that I know of on the Cat World forums that have cats with these. One has used homoeopathic remedies successfully and the other conventional medicine. Here is the link if you would like to join up and ask over there: http://www.cat-world.com.au/forums
  17. I have put 9 cats on it. They all took to it without any problems but 3 had sloppy poo which stuck to their bums (Persians) when I had finished making the switch over. It's fine if I mix it 50/50 with Royal Canin so I am sticking with that mixture.
  18. Dr Daves Vet Products (formerly My Online Vet) http://www.drdavesvetproducts.com.au/index.html Sell worming, tick and flea control. Postage $5.95 (flat rate) I have always had excellent service and find their prices for a lot of items the cheapest.
  19. It sounds like it might be an irritation of the lining of the bowel. I had this with a kitten once and she ended up having a prolapse as she was straining so much.
  20. They are fantastic. I also love the little dogs and the one's on speed!
  21. That third photo is amazing. What sort of spiders make webs like that on the ground?
  22. Are you near Perth as this looks great? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Dog-cat-run-pen-enc...=item2c5c3eee4c
  23. My vet hung long strips of black plastic around the outside of his verandah as they were nesting in the beams. I guess the plastic frightens them away. Or you could try hanging old CDs.
