I also used the Wyndham vets and got some very clear pictures. Dr Watts said that as they get bigger it can get harder to see how many there are. I had Nessa done at day 31 and he found 7, she gave birth to 9! Good thing I also had an xray taken which showed the 9.

So sorry, shedding tears here jr_inoz glad mum is okay though RIP little puppies.

Congratuations shellbyville small litters are great you get to spend so much time with each puppy :D

How is it going jr inoz? Nessa and her nine collies are doing well. The cat has even visited and been treated civily. When I figure out how to add a photo I will.

I gently lay my head on my girls stomach and listened and got a jolt in ear from one of the puppies!

Thanks for all the congratulations. Nessa is living up to her name Swing Ona Star :laugh: Back from the vet check and she has a clean bill of health so do the puppies. So far she is being a great mother and eating straight away. Good luck to all the others for this month. Must be all the love in the air around valentines day!

Hi love the puppy pics. Still waiting with Nessa, I'm sitting on my bed with her head on my arm. She ate last night but couldn't keep it down. Her temperature seems to be going up and down (or I need a new thermometer) Anyway I'm not going anywhere and the rest of dogs are quiet so maybe they know something.

Thanks for the well wishes. I hope all goes well with the other litters due. I am on leave from work now and it seems it's just in time. Nessa's temp dropped to 36.1 and she is panting and restless. Waiting...waiting...waiting...could be a while yet it's her first litter and my first collie litter so I'm not certain what to expect. :)

Hi, I had a phone call from the vet after he checked Nessa's xray and it seems she is expecting 9 little collies now! Phew!

I wonder if there are mail deliveries on this Saturday. I haven't received my numbers yet.

I just had my cheque for Kyneton taken out overnight so at least I know I'm entered. No numbers yet.
