Ordered mine from USA.....cheaper than getting them here...I am very happy with them.. I have 4 large for my delux house and I ordered a couple of small one's for over crete's and pen's.....

I think there is disturbed exhibitors in all groups, I have not found Showing in Sydney any different to any other city show... They may not have the same atmosphere as a smaller country show but I can not say I have been rude to or not that I remember... Showing is what you make it, enjoy the social side of it and mix with the sane people :D

If it is only closing date now then they may not have numbered up yet, so you may get your numbers back in the SAE as well as the receipt...... But by all means give the Sec a ring, then you will be good to go or Not

I have sent entries...... How about letting us know the schedule for ADELONG ..... To go to Tallangatta on Friday, look around the area on Saturday or rest day, then Adelong would be a lovely w/e....

If that is the case Puggz I would doubt it will go, in fact I would say it will get bigger as the puppy grows...... I would think long and hard before you go ahead with starting with a black (JMO) They are delightful to have and live with and they will keep you laughing but for show it is very hard....

Like Nevafollo said maybe a combo, but alot of judges can see what is looking at them with a Fawn where a black may take a little more time, I have had a judge (overseas judge) tell me he could not judge black one's only Fawn's.........go figure..... Yes they are all Pug's and alot of breeders have some very good black , which has been a project over many years, but it seems most judges prefer Fawn, I have also been told the Fawn's have more expression etc etc............ If I was starting out I would start with a Fawn for showing (JMO) like Nevofollo said it can be very disapointing.....

Black Pugs are hard to win with due to the fact alot of judges are a little bias and prefer the fawn.... I have owned, bred & showed both and I love the blacks, I do not like any white on them...... JMO

Bichon was BIG at both shows yesterday (Hutchinson's) Don't know what was RU at the am show ... RU at the pm show was a Havanese. Thankyou Dellcara..........don't know any Pug results do you ?? We must catch up in the New Year

I don't have a catalogue on me as someone took my copy today!! But BIG was Cav (Weekes) and RU Was Bichon (Monjoi I think) A Pap (Dunno whos!), Lowchen and Pug was shortlisted I know Inter in Group was the Pap that was shortlisted (I think) Hope this helps! DOGSNSW Regulations part 11 SHOW section 1 1:15 Any bitch that is more than 6 weeks pregnant is NOT permitted to be on any Showground during the period commencing 24 hours before the starting time of any show or other event approved by the Board of Directors, ending 24 hours after the completion of that show or event. So unless your bitch whelps 3 weeks early, rules are broken are they not?? I would not think anyone could be that far out with the dates/mating...... I should not think puppies born that early would survive !!!

Can I come with you? Oh and there will be no dancing on the tables either!!

With a week to go I would have NOT gone to any shows, but that is just me, when I mate a bitch I would expect NOT to go !!!! No other dogs other than those entered should be on the grounds anyway, so rule broken there... I know these things happen and I also know of people having 2 /3 weeks old litters in the trailers, before missing a show... Not good practice I think..... JMO

I do not think there is ANY excuse for having a bitch in whelp at a show..... If you have mated a bitch, then you should be well aware of the pending litter and NOT attend shows, or she should be left at home in care of a responsible adult.... I am sure the Canine Council would have a very dim view of this also.......

It is first in best dressed here... If the rings are set up you MUST leave a 2m walk way, between your house and the ring..........don't block any paths and you will be fine..... Good Luck and enjoy !!
