Group 7 Sunday was British Bulldog, Dalmatian, Great Dane, Keeshond, Poodle (Min), Poodle (Toy) & Schipperke ...that is your line up.. Trophies were: Rice Cookers, Slow Cookers, Folding Tables, Mix masters, Cheese Boards, Stone Ware Roasting dishes.. Large Water jugs, Sets of Containers, W/E Suitcases, Grooming bags...... All great stuff I wouldn't mind winning anyone of them..........

They look pretty right to me Skyegirl.. What lovely weather we had , great sunny days Also I have to mention the Trophies were better than any show I have been to even the Royals... Thankyou to your trophies steward, I was very very happy with mine as were so many others.... All useful items..well done. Keep these dates in mind for next year they are having International judges and with thropies like these you can not miss out...

Click on amateur fruit and wines and look for canine and click on that. Then white swiss will be the first breed so click on that and then look for the breed you want. Thanks for that I am not real good with these computers.....although the Jam results were interesting

What a great entry for these shows....Most breeds will have quite afew in there line up....way to go. We are still have lovely sunny days with a little rain at nights......fingers crossed !!! :D

Well guys it was the most sunny nice day here for a long time lets hope it continues for the w/e...

Sat up untill midnight last night and it was finally on, another horse has died that made 5 (Ithink) The Kelpie with Hendra is alive and still showing no signs of sickness.... There was a Kelpie that had Parvo and died from that Virus.......phew

I very much hope you are right Showpony, I did hear something but I was walking past, they had said the Kelpie had died so I am hope to all hell I am wrong..... I have listen to the news since then and there has been no mention of it, but it is a worry all the same.....

I have just heard on the news this morning , that the dog has passed away from this virus...... Yes CC it is cause for concern.

I like your idea of your stewards not exhibiting, but you will need alot of workers... Depending on show rings say 4....thats 4 stewards Obedience rings say 3......thats 6 stewards I do not know about Rally O ..... Good Luck with your shows, but from past experience you only have a hand full of workers...

I believe the "Coachman Motel " allows dogs inside (I have been told) Alot of people stay at the "Barclay Gardens" dogs welcome.... The Sun is out to-day lets hope this is the same that w/e, cold at night so bring your bed socks & any type of hot water bottle ;)

Well I think I saw it will be -5 in Canberra tonight....hummm it is up to you ;)

I have 1 each for my 2 & 4 Berth Trollies.... Love them, mine has the zips in each corner and one down the middle front and back.....with pockets on the sides and a removable piece on top for after grooming.....both are waterproof Was not worth the time or effort for me to make them for what I paid (not that I am handy with a sewing machine ) A friend has the BBQ one for outside and cover the trollies when transporting, they are very good....

I would say Megz that they would only make money to keep the club going or improve what they have.... I know only to well Rebanne what hard work goes into these clubs and the running of them, I know it is always left to a handful of hard workers to run the show and hopefully make a profit.... Yes we have lost alot of Country shows from various reasons but us country people just have to cop it sweet...

I live in the Country Rebanne, I find plenty on shows to attend.. In fact I am on the Border of NSW/VIC so this would be one of my locals also, but if a club decide's to move as this one has a few times, then there is nothing can be done, can you say they will get an entry of around 600/700 if it stayed in the Country........... Having said that Wangaratta had an entry of over 600, show entries are always seem stronger in Victoria.....but once they have been granted a show the committee can move it to what venue they want......

There is a few Canteens that leave a little to be desired at times.... I have heard many complaints made of several... Take your own is the best way if you are worried about an iffy canteen..

I guess the shows have to be held where they can get a good entry, to keep going...

It is held on the Showground/Dog ground....so look for the Showground and you have it !!
