I am with you Dellcara, I would rather be in traffic than sitting waiting for the gates to open At least you maybe moving towards home...... I see we have the Canadian judge, but they have spilt the Toys also, but a Royal is a Royal ;) I agree good time to catch up with everybody as they are not going anywhere untill 5pm

Thanks for that Sway, numbers very interesting......alot of 1 and 2 of breeds...... Now show people, the weather as dated today is FRIDAY 25 SUNNY SATURDAY 26 SUNNY SUNDAY 26 SUNNY / LATE SHOWERS I think it will be lovely weather, bring warm clothes for the nights as they are getting a little chilly atm.............

No Liz Fabrici has been up there on holidays for afew weeks now coming back down this week !!!

Liz Fabrici must of had wings on, she won BOB & BIG at Sydney Royal over the w/e with Roly so I am guessing he didn't get Res CC ?? Are you coming to Corowa ,Deniliquin ?? If so see you there Thanks !!!!

It is raining up here this w/e so fingers crossed next will be lovely weather....... It is a fantastic venue, with a ton of room for everybody.........camping sites are ALL powered and a water supply, shower & toilet block has about 10 or so Showers, so no-one would miss out !!!

Is it General Specials tomorrow ????

Do you mean like they were judging group 6 and you were showing in group 3? I don't see how it would be a conflict - they aren't judging your dogs and may not even know you are there showing? Showing in SA means we don't have the luxury of more than one show on per weekend - there are no other shows unless we want to go interstate. ETA: I would not enter under this judge with my own dogs of any breed. I have been asked now once entries are in if I will be able to help as I don't believe their normal handler is going to these shows. I will of course explain to the dog's owner the situation first, but wanted to check that if they desperately need me, that going in the ring with a dog for a run off or the like would not get them or myself in trouble. Thanks for the replies. Very hard if you do not have another show, but if you are just helping handling I couldn't see a problem, usually you are given the most difficult one to handle anyway :D There should be no trouble for you or them!! Perhaps I would suggest another show ?? But it would be your call on the day !!! Rules yes Ethics there is always another show somewhere could save embarrassment and gossip all the way round !!! JMHO

OK I have a couple I really shouldn't share, but while grooming my Pug dog he would chat with his teeth on my shirt, didn't mind kept him still.... Steward called my number and I poped the dog on the ground and made a bolt for the gate yelling here (that was to draw attention to myself of course) as while chatting my blouse he had managed to remove 3 of my top buttons and I was entering the ring with total bra showing and 2 bottom buttons left!!!! Steward screamed , judge looked, I looked , I am sure an entry of over 300 looked and I grab the bloody dog to shield me of all things, someone hand me 2 nappy safty pins, all done and dusted entered the ring with red face.......... BTW I was not behind the door when they were given out either.....If any-one has a picture of this I will pay thousands for ir not to be printed Luck has it no camera phone's then..... Another bad malfuntion was while changing shoes got distracted (which is not hard for me) went in the ring with one black shoe and one white jogger!!!! Judge told me after my triangle that it was distracting............

I was talking to the Sec of Tumbarumba show today and she wanted me to post that this is now a 2 day show with Bethunga/Illabo Kennel CLub the other host but on the same ground.......she said she seems to have entries for Saturday but not Sunday so thought that people might have forgotten!!! :D Anyway Tumbarumba is a lovely area and great to spent a little time there, I will not be there this year at all, as this always seems to clash with the Pug Club speciality, hard not to go to your own breed specials..........I always think your breed special should come first and they are fun to catch up with people you don't see very often !!! Nice grounds and the Caravan Park is right there also, so maybe keep it in mind for next year and stay to do both shows.!!!!

I have made the phone calls, as my babies are just started being weaned, so mum has plenty of milk....... So sad Bronwyn to hear of your loss, thinking of you at this time !

I have also stayed at this motel at Gisborne and it is lovely, with a nice area at the end to walk your dogs, hope it is still pet friendly !!!!
