  1. Wow what an interesting thread. If I had sold you a dog I would be very disappointed in myself and I would be equally disappointed that you choose to air this publically and not come straight to me first. As a breeder I would give you a full refund JUST to get rid of you and to get the dog back - contract or no contract.
  2. Your name please - But seriously, I will ALWAYS support an honest judge whether they like & put my dogs up or not. Good luck to you in your training and gaining licences. We need more judges who judge the dogs and against the standard . Those judges who 'play the game' lose entries - as do those show secretaries who stack their own shows for their own dogs - they do not get my entries either.
  3. Hmmm - I don't think I'll be driving quite that far - LOL. But I am happy to sponsor your Neuter In Show Sash .
  4. Fantastic News - bet they are two happy girls - hope the puppies are all fine too.
  5. Yes, mother nature knows best. Selecting For Vigor - ALWAYS high in importance in the final decision on those puppies to breed on with.
  6. Any news ??? I've rung a couple of people I know who live in the area - they are keeping a look out for them. Just a sick feeling especially with the pregnant girl. Hope it all ends well.
  7. Which Clubs ??? I know that it still seems like a waste of time to most people but my old girl loves to come away for the weekend or the day and to be shown. They do know the difference of being shown or not. I will support the clubs that offer this class and will / have driven past shows that are at the park in order to attend a show that offers neuter. These clubs need to realise that its not just the neuter entry - most shows I will enter 4 others dogs in as well - so if there is a club offering a neuter cc class then I will take my 5 entries there. I agree Bisart. I too am travelling further to enter shows that hold neuter classes over those local ones that don't and putting in multiple dog entries. I also explained all this in my letters and added that others are doing the same thing. I actually also think there is probably a fair bit of attitude that some of these affiliates not believing these classes should be held and this is why they do not wish to. I do not believe that it is entirely because of the funds and waste of time, but this is most likely a contributing factor. Sorry, I do not feel it is appropriate naming the clubs I have approached, but I can definitely say that there are some people on committees that think neuters should not be shown at all. I think this is a very backward way of thinking. My neuter bitch has progeny being shown. It does not have to be about showing stock that is yet to be bred with. Yes, but if more of us approach them then maybe they will change this in the future. I think this is the only way to get them to see the bigger picture and most exhibitors are happy to sponsor the sashes etc And to further your other point Rhemy has produced 3 Champions, 2 Dual CH's & 2 Register of Merits in her first litter and has 3 progeny being exhibited from her second - its not about not her having to prove anything its about it being fairly offered to everyone who wishes to exhibit.
  8. Happy to - could you pm me your email address & I will send them through. If you are showing Sat at the park I can bring it down for you to look at too.

  11. Hi Bisart Dobes, A few of questions for you... 1. Can you get a "canine" specific Super Colostrum as I know of many brands but all contain lactose and cows milk proteins? 2. With the Lifestream ADE, is there a canine specific brand? 2. Where do you buy your Super Colostrum and Lifestream ADE from as neither appear to be easily found in Vic? Thanks in advance for your reply 1. How great would it be to get a Canine Colostrum !!! - I know you can get it in the States & I have tried to get it here but they won't ship it. So I have settled with 'normal colostrum' - it is bovine colostrum powder and thats the only one I have found here too. I haven't had any issues with our dogs and cows milk or cows milk products and will continue to use it. If anyone can get Canine Colostrum into the country let me know . . . 2. The Lifestream ADE is vegetarian thats why I use it for myself and the dogs get it because I have it there. Our local Health Food Shop gets it in - Karingal. But most would be happy to get a product in for you if you ask. You can get it online - link below. Pharmacy online (NSW based) http://www.pharmacyonline.com.au/life-stream-bowelbiotics-200g?utm_source=ShopBot&utm_medium=ppc&utm_term=life%20stream%20bowelbiotics%20200g 3.The Super Colostrum I also get from our Health Food Shop its Goodlife Nutrition - but I have seen it in Chemists also. I also use Cellfood, Transfer Factor and Spiriulina + our powder mix, dry mix & wet mix (one day I will market them all !!!) with all my dogs throughout their lives but find that the Colostrum & ADE are good for babies as soon as they start the weaning process - the other things get added in as they get older (they get them through mum anyway).
  12. Haven't had this myself but recently have had several people tell me their litters are doing the same thing - how weird. Several years ago I worked in conjunction with Dr Robert Holmes for about 18 months through the training company I worked for. We worked on Behaviour Problem Dogs - I was suprised at how many dogs have this issue. His team had done research on how to approach and treat / cure this problem as obviously it is quite a hard 'behaviour problem' for people to deal with (or thats how they see it - the dog being naughty). Their research concluded that the dogs initially have a digestive / absorbtion issue and they are not getting everything they should from their food - therefore it is not digested fully when they defecate - so to them they think it is still food. We treated with digestives and natural treatments to balance their systems to get them working properly (pineapple breaks down enzymes which is why it seems to work). With dogs that had been doing this a long time we had to do behavior modification as well (as it had become a habit) but with bubbas you should be able to add digestives to their diet to help their systems cope with their food better. I have suggested to the people who spoke to me about it to add digestives - I like Lifestream Advanced Digestive Enzymes and find that Super Colostrum is fantastic to add to puppies food when they are first weaned - though won't hurt to add it now, you can get it in tablet or powder form - great product. It may be only one or two puppies that aren't digesting properly but working that out would be impossible - far easier to treat them all. There are quite a few Natropaths around who do system analysis but if you want a contact feel free to pm me.
  13. Yes, hope to do both and I am not always that pushy but was sick of people pushing in front of me prior to that ( I walked away ) - sometimes you just have to be blunt - you probably would have been there forever holding their tent up .
  14. Yes = Very Well Done - it was nice to see her get NIS today, she does look like a lovely girl. I was the one with the other dog in the Grp 6 Neuter Line Up - my Rhemy (she is half way there now after this weekend & at 9 1/2 I hope to get her N CH title and make up her TRI CH - which would be lovely). Don't you wish they would get the points for the NIG win !!!!!
  15. Its about 1500 + per puppy with all paperwork etc done.
  16. Haven't done it myself but know of one person who had two bitches both of whom had to have c-sections their first litters (5 & 6 pups in a breed where litter average would be about 8 to 9) - he did back to back with both - both had to have c-sections again and both only had one surviving puppy.
  17. 27th & 28th ??? Had me confused there for a sec .
  18. Thanks for the results - given up on their website its so bad.
  19. You can access the financial reports from the rspca on their site but 2010 donation from the Vic Gov was 4 million above the 4% funding. 2008 was 2.6 million again above the then 3% funding. As of 2008 the Vic rspca (note Vic only not Aust Wide) had a surplus of 8.5 million and assets amounting to above 55 million. They can cry poor all they like its falling on deaf ears with me.
  20. Agree - at the start of BSL & the tail docking issue - which was what about 10 + years ago ??? - both of which they have won with massive donations from Governments & our OWN Canine Associations !!
  21. Thanks Sway - though we are not there yet. Want to have the first couple on the road for a few months prior to advertising anything. They will be custom made trailers though. & thanks to those people who have enquired already - we'll get there eventually ;) .
  22. We already have a few groups that have a weird combination of dogs in them - Grp 6 & Grp 7 could do with a reshuffle here in Aus. The majority of the other groups seem complete (for want of a better word) but I think Group 3 is the only one that truely works as a 'Group'.
  23. Maybe he was terrorised by a pigeon? or savaged by a chicken? Well he has actually killed one of our neighbours chooks (who decided our yard with 2 dobes in it was a good place to be ???) and he gets great joy out of chasing birds in general. So no - its just feathers . Wouldn't you just love them to be able to speak sometimes.
