  1. Yeah making small ones would be easy just pm me with details (colour, amount etc.)
  2. Wow thanks everyone!! I brought some to training tonight and everyone was very enthusiastic. I like the 4 strand braid because it's tight and lasts a bit longer and it's very very simple, not sure what it's called but I will explain it when I get on my computer (on my iPod atm). I was thinking of selling them for $5 or something, maybe also make some smaller ones for 2.50 where do you advertise things on dol? If anyone wants one just pm me.Tdieriksx, I'll give you some for free as a donation for the rescue pups, please pm me your address so I can send them
  3. Hi guys, I have started braiding some tug toys out of 4 strips of polar fleece, let me know what you think. I'm not sure if I will start selling them as for now I am making them for third place prizes for our tuesday night agility trials at our club. Do you think they are ok as prizes (the allowance we are given for 3rd prize is $1.50). Nossi and Pepe sure like them
  4. or maybe we could do "commercials" so people could try and use their dog to make a photo to advertise a product?
  5. Huga - I love it!! very good interpretation of the word. Here is mine for the day - BLUE It's Pepe with the new tug toy that I braided for him, I have learned how to braid them from 4 strips of polar fleece, they look pretty cool and I am now making some for my agility club
  6. www.peppernossi.blogspot.com stories and photos surrounding my two brindle boys, all welcome, the more followers the less it feels like I'm talking to myself :D

I also found some I took a few weeks ago when out with the dogs. I couldn't decide which one I like best so I will post a few, which one do you guys prefer? ETA: I am really liking this one more and more
  11. Seeing as it's now officially the next day I feel like adding one more... Quix, a kelpie I photographed at agility camp, portraying UPSIDE DOWN
  12. what about something like "dog outings" so people would post photos of their dogs ate the park, beach etc. It would encourage us to get out to more interesting places with the dogs too!
  13. Thanks anniek, Here is another one for today, a contribution from Nossi for TASTE
  14. Thanks for the info guys, I will get cracking, I'm a bit excited because I am by no means pro/experienced and this is my first photo challenge! Luckily pepe will eat anything you give to him so the stamp one was easy
  15. Were you talking about how it's the best dog name ever?! Yeah, something like that! No, we were talking about Manchester Terriers. Ah I see (But it is a pretty awesome name ) Yeah I'm very tempted to get a manchester terrier next so naturally trixie came up in conversation! and yes, she does have a very cute name
  16. Hey guys! I just wanted to take one more chance to how off pepe's agility skills This video is a bit of a tribute/mesh up of pepe's runs from 2009, I tried to make it fit the song but I'm not great at video editing yet so bear with me Enjoy!
  17. This is exactly what happens with me! My little boy gets fear aggressive with big in your face dogs (after being attacked 2 years ago) so whenever there are any big bouncy dogs in the park I put him on lead and 90% of the time the big dog will come bolting over and straight to him, ignoring my 2 offlead dogs completely instead of just playing with them. Then I will usually try to walk off with pepe so that the big dog doesn't get in his face but the big dog keeps following right up pepe's but and people always say to me"don't worry he's just playing he's not aggressive". Nowadays I just tell them "well my dog is and having your dog offleash without it being under voice control is against the law, if my dog has a go at yours it's your fault for letting it approach an on leash dog without the owners permission" (a ranger told me to say that as that's how its stated on the offleash park sign) It usually seems to work although the other dog's owner generally has to come grab their dog's collar and drag it off because it doesn't have any form of recall whatsoever
  18. Stamp I'm one day behind so do I need to catch up by posting 2 on one day?
  19. Some of those rego fees are crazy!! We only have to register them once (its a lifetime deal) and the prices are much lower Desexed animal: $40 Desexed animal owned by a eligible pensioner: $15 Undesexed animal: $150 Undesexed animal owned by a breeder: $40 I have heard rumours that we have a 3 dogs limit but I have never seen it written anywhere or enforced.
  20. The dogs at the vets where i work still manage to tear up the vet beds pretty easy (same as the one described by bundy's mum) maybe try these, beds specifically designed for crates and against chewing! http://www.cushionguy.com/Titan_Bed_System.html
  21. thanks amypie he is a quick little boy!!! This photo will give you a better idea of how small he is
  22. Here's some of me with Pepe, for some reason I only have pics of pepe and me and not any of the other dogs, I will have to change that...maybe it's a bit too obvious that I have a favourite... cuddles my favourite, pepe sunbaking on my back at colo river winners are grinners (even if they can't hold the ribbon the right way up)
  23. Yeah pepe is a lot smaller than he looks in photos, about the same size as a miniature schnauzer (that's the closest I've found). Hehe I had to jump at the chance for a new sig!!! Thanks for noticing :D
