OK I'm in for this years 52 Weeks 2013. It's nice to be back after missing 2012 52 weeks. I've decided to photograph my new pup. My lovely girl Cedar recently gave birth to four gorgeous pups however as they are only 5 weeks old we haven't decided which one we are keeping, so until we do I will put a photo up of my potential picks from the litter, until we decide. So for Week 1/52 Weeks 2013 - Little Miss Peach

So sorry to hear of your loss. RIP Marlie

I had the operation done on one of my dogs a few years ago now. It got to the stage where it was the only solution to her issue. Operation was done by a specialist, was successful, no complications and I had a happy dog afterwards.

So sorry Wags to hear this. Big hugs to you. RIP Riley.

It has been nearly five weeks since we suddenly lost our beautiful Weimaraner Longhair, Marlo. Losing Marlo and dealing with her loss has been so difficult these past weeks. She went before her time and has left a huge hole in our hearts. We also lost our little Brittany just four months ago, so losing two dogs so close has been so heartbreaking. We have so many wonderful memories of Marlo and know she had a great life with us and will treasure those memories forever. Run Free now my sweet Marlo with your best little mate, Sharnie. Lucky you. I'm currently thinking about buying the D7000 as well. I'd love to hear some feedback from you as to what you think of the camera, once you've had a chance to play around with it and take some pics. -

Beautiful photos and the images are so sharp. Must make an effort to get there one day. -
Sharnie, my gorgeous little Brittany was given her wings yesterday. She was 15.3 years old and old age was just catching up with her. She was just the best dog, my little heart dog. A quiet dog who loved people, always gentle, always obedient, except when there was a bunny or bird that she might be able to catch on our walks. I'm going to miss my girl so much. R.I.P. Sharn. 6.11.96 - 13.2.12 Sharn in her younger days.

Great shots, love looking at those zoomie pics.

Gorgeous pics again of your two CM. Looking forward to Tilly pics Helen. Haven't seen her for ages either.

Thanks Helen. No, the bokeh stars I've used are in Flickr. The bokeh kit in the other thread looks good too. Great idea to use the hearts for Tilly the Valentine girl.

Woo hooooo, we made it to the end. I've had so much fun this year doing this challenge with all of you. Thanks for all the lovely comments throughout the year. I've really enjoyed seeing everyones photos this year. So here is my final pic of Marlo - Week 52-52 2011.

Fabulous pics from everyone. Only this week to go for the final pic of the year ..... OK, I'll tentatively say yes to another year of 52 weeks with my other Longhair Wei, Cedar. This will be interesting to say the least, with this girl. Marlo - Week 51/52.

Rosaline - I, like Helen, also looked at Welshies when looking for another dog years ago. As much as the Welshie really appealed to me, I decided against getting one and going with the Brittany. A decision I have not regretted. They are a great family dog. I preferred the Brittany size (mid), loved the shorter ears and coat and felt temperament-wise the Brittany was more biddable and outgoing over the Welshie. That's just my impression at the time from what I saw at shows etc. and what suited my needs in a dog. I love how Britts are very affectionate and adore people and are excellent with children. My girl has never been jumpy on people and is a very quiet dog. They are easy to train, but can be stubborn at times. Of the Welshies I've met, they seem like a lovely dog, have met a few that do tracking and agility and they are on my "would love to own one" list. In the end I think it just comes down to what breed ticks all the boxes to suit your familys needs. Best of luck in whichever breed you eventually choose.

Goodness me, only 2 more weeks to go. Lovely Christmas pics from everyone. Marlo - Week 50/52.

Continuing on with the Christmas theme..... Marlo - Week 49/52

Gorgeous pics everyone. I'm a week behind again. I thought I'd try a Christmas theme for the last month of the challenge, but I'm strugging to find the time and motivation. Here's my half-hearted effort for last week. The oh-so familiar Santa hat on the dog pic! Marlo - Week 48/52 - Merry Christmas from Marlo.
