  2. Fantastic pics everyone. I'm a little late getting started and some pics will be from my recent OS trip. Here's my first. A for Audrey
  3. MooBoo - My 13 year old Brittany recently had a severe episode of Geriatric Vestibular Syndrome and spent 4 days in ICU on a drip. Her symptoms were vomiting, drooling, eyes flickering side to side and an unbalanced gait. Well basically she really was just trying to take a few steps and collapsing. Very frightening for us seeing it happening, but I sensed it wasn't a seizure/fit or stroke. When we went to see her the next day she had a head tilt, which can be permanent with some dogs. This condition can take between 1 to 3 weeks for the dog to recover. I was advised if there was no improvement in her within a week to get a CT scan. So I'm pleased to say my girl did recover very well and at this stage I haven't had the need for the CT scan. Every now and then her feet go from under her and she wobbles a bit, especially if she gets up too quickly. So I would highly recommend you get a CT scan on your dog if her symptoms have occured for a second time, just so you can find out what you are dealing with. Best of luck with your gorgeous girl.
  4. Gorgeous photos Helen. Love the first one.
  5. That's sounds like a great idea.

  7. Thanks Helen, OH and I might pop down for a look when the exhibition starts.
  8. Congrats and well done to you and Bailey on gaining this new title. My breeder also recently gained her QND Title with her Wei Longhair.
  9. Gorgeous photos of Bailey. Looks great in his coat.
  10. BB - There is also a Black Tri Colour too.
  11. Stunning looking boy. Love his solid head as well, similar to my Brittanys near solid head.
  12. Isn't he just gorgeous. I love them with lots of colour. :D
  13. VA - I'm so sorry things haven't worked out with Hank. You were so excited about getting him. I'm sure handing him back to Wei rescue will be hard for you but you are doing the right thing by Hank and I'm sure Wei rescue will eventually find a suitable home for him. If you are still keen on a Wei, I would wait a few more years until the kiddies are older and either start from scratch and buy a puppy or if you still want a rescue, an older dog and probably a female may be more suitable.
  14. Top pics. Lovely spot for a holiday too, isn't it.
  15. I agree with animalia - go and visit some kennels first, there are quite a few in the north/south western side of Melbourne. What someone here recommends may not suit your expectations or your dogs needs. Best to go and see for yourself so you are happy to leave your dog at any kennel. I'm also going away for 4 weeks soon and I'm going to board one of mine in a boarding kennel in Werribee next week for a trial period, so we'll see how she goes there.
  16. Congratulations Ashanali and rocco. All your photos are amazing. :D
  17. I had a really good reason for not being there, will tell you about it next time we catch up. Pointees: Would love to get to a Kepala meet one day. I currently have a girl in season, so this weekend is obviously out. efs
