My Weimaraner Longhairs have been called either Greyhounds or Saluki's. :D

Since my 14 year old Brittany suffered a bad Vestibular episode last year she is very unsteady on her feet, plus she has arthritis. Subsequently walking on my tiled areas was becoming quite dangerous for her, if her feet went from under her. So I bought some large rubber-backed carpet tiles from Bunnings. They have made an enormous difference and are easy to clean and Sharnie is more confident walking around now.

Wow, more great pics. poocow - great water shot of Flynn. Gosh, he is a lovely looking boy. tlc - Bronson looks like he is really enjoying his bath, like the tone of the pic too. rally - love Tobys intense look, love the 2nd pic. Oh and it's the shorthairs that are crazy, not the Longhairs. piper - Jazz certainly has that intense look down pat. great pic. cm - 2 great snaps. Lotus looks like she has devils horns! Looks like Chester would make a great tracking dog.

Helen - beautiful photos as usual, lovely tone. Love Chazers collar too. I think Sharnie and Chazer co-wrote that photo guide book. She is exactly the same. Which is why I decided against her being my subject for this years photo challenge. Sharnie loathes me taking pictures of her and in fact when she sees me coming towards her with my camera in hand she runs off and hides. eta - evolving - lovely pic of the cute Bob. Sarzc - gorgeous shot of Bones, he is growing so quickly.

Go on, I dare you sarzc, get a hairy Wei - come over to the hairy side of Weis.

Week 5/52 - Marlo

Finally catching up and need to say about the last week of photos: CM - love your pics of Lotus and especially the one of Chester at the beach. anniek- Cowboys ears are hilarious, great pic. FM - love any Weimy pics but the tug-o-war one of Banjo and Louie is tops. poocow - Flynn is such a handsome boy. Love Moo's headshot, love seeing those rarer spaniels. gila - Spence looks very happy on top of his castle. Catherineb. - love that cheeky grin on Macca. SammieS - Asti is just adorable, great pic. tlc - you know I like that 3rd pic of Bronson, handsome boy he is. ish - great shot of Termi, nice head. LuvLottie - love the last two pics of Lottie, she is a very pretty girl. Shell - Zero is so photogenic - I love how all your pics are so sharp. wagsalot - Riley seems to luv his toy. mtd - love the 'flying nun' ears. kickss - pretty pic - love the head tilt. flyingduster - so love this pic, they are very well groomed poodle feet. whiskedaway - love little Halo, she is so cute. wuffles - lovely soft pic of Ava. Her white is so vibrant. How do you keep her so clean. fionac - Very regal pose from Monty, he has a very striking eye colour too. sheena - looks like your dog is having a great time swimming. So sorry to hear about your lovely dog Jessie, kirsty79. I went through a similar experience last year with my old girl. It was quite distressing seeing her go through this. She spent 3 days on an IV drip because she couldn't stand or eat either. I know it's easy to say but don't panic too much yet, as it may take your dog a few days to get her balance back and the medication start to take full effect. My girl made a steady recovery and by about 3 weeks was pretty much back to herself apart from a now permanent head tilt and she has some balance issues. She did have a mild relapse about 4 months later, but for now is doing well for a 14 year old dog. :D to you and Jessie.

tlc - they are all nice pics, but I think I like this one a bit more.
