HI All Am wanting to get hold of a copy of Puppy Puzzle DVD by Pat Hastings, and the accompanying sheets. I have found some in USA but they will not play on Oz DVD players--differenf format. Any ideas, suggestions of dog book shops etc gratefully accepted. Cheers Sherri

Hi All Am about to have a litter in early August. I have not had a litter in 11 years and am feeling very nervous and out of practice. I have read on some posts that people have whelping charts, with boxes to tick off for such things as placenta accounted for, etc. I would love to receive anyone's sheet as I have no idea where mine are after 11 years and moving house twice since then.

How hypocritical are the CCCQ? They want more members, more people involved in clubs, more entries and therefore more income. What do they think they would have received from allowing the Neutered Champ to go ahead? After a long and hard fight with the CCCQ (last state in Australia to do so!!), they finally allow associate register dogs who are non-pedigree, cross-breeds etc to participate in dog sports (and rightly so) and are happy to take the money that dog sports contribute to the coffers....BUT the neutered champ is contrary to the ethos as it doesn't promote pure-bred dogs??? They are only kidding themselves. That does not make sense to publish such a blatantly obvious untrue statement, given the admission of Associate Register dogs to CCCQ sanctioned events. We lowly members don't get a right to say what we think before the decision is made??? Obviously not. Who do we complain to, long and loudly, to get something done about this?

You can now also get the silver mesh coats lined with silky material, again from Great Rugs. No, I have no business interest in Great Rugs, just like the products they are offering to make our showing life easier. Wish these had been available when I bought my silver shade mesh coat without any lining. Does catch on the coat without a lining, and not very sturdy either. I don't leave mine on my girl unattended, and she is well behaved, just worried that it might catch on something and rip.

I bought mine from Great Rugs and love them. I have just given 2 of my friends one for Christmas as they were so amazed at the difference they make to the temperature. Love the fact that they already have velcro attached, so nothing else is needed to attach them to the gazebo, and they exactly fit the gazebo sides length and cover the full drop so you don't get any sun sneaking in underneath.
