Hi All, I am looking for names of trainers/behavourist in Hobart. Names and experiences greatly appreciated. As a side note: it is for a lady who purchased a dog from me years ago. She has now encountered some issues she would like to try and sort out. Thank you JAG
-
Probably a silly thing but have you wormed her correctly? I would also look at giving her cooked lamb shanks. At this age she would enjoy the good chew on the bone after she is finsihed. Lamb flaps are also good as is the chicken mince. Cooked tongue is also good for putting weight on puppies.

So what is the payment system about??

My poodles like the taste of cod liver oil (eww yuck!) They love it on their food so maybe yours would too?? Wouldn't that be easier then trying to make your own tablets? I am not sure if that would help your poodle but it certainly keeps mine happy and regular  When giving capsules I just open the mouth and put it in the back of the throat and hold mouth closed until they swallow. Easy! A normal size human one goes down fine in a toy and my minis have no probs either.

Ripley can you PM someone who is in the know? OR maybe get their phone number and give them a call? Have you tried googling how to? I know I am not much help sorry... -
Thanks Rubiton. It was a pure fluke and I don't mind admitting it  Mind you the owner loved it when I printed it out for her. I wish I had someone in the know up here to teach me properly. I am not much good with the book and then going out into the world to practice. I am a hands on learner

I have no advice to offer you as I am still very much on my L's. Here are a couple of pics I took at a local agility comp the other weekend. I woosed out and used sport mode for most of them....

Sorry for your loss. What a dear face your man had. Such wisdom and knowingness. Run free at the bridge old man.

Seemed to format the card ok says I have 1.8gb available for use.. I have to go - dog show so will take some pics over the weekend and see what happens. Thank you for the advice

Sorry - my bad. The images that show on the camera screen with the words corrupt data do not down load from the camera to the computer but the ones I have posted look normal on the camera screen until you zoom in on them or when you preview them after they have been down loaded onto the computer. Hope that makes sense. Now you mention it I have only used this card with this camera so I will change the card and see what happens. The card is a 2 gb scandisk ultraII. Is is a crapinski one???
-
I have only been using the one card and yes I have had the corrupted data message come up on a few images on the screen. These inmages don't save to the computer though??? But having said that I will give it a go kja. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Nothing is stupid Ripley as I have no ideas??? The 400D has auto sensor cleaning so I don't think I have to do as you have suggested. But then again as I am new to the SLR's I could be very wrong... I may have to phone Canon and speak with them. Could I be so lucky as to have bought a dud??
-
Most of the times it is with a fresh battery. This was taken on the weekend with a freshly charged battery. It has got me perplexed?? At first I thought maybe I had dwelled too long on the button with my finger but it has happened with other people using it as well.
-
Can anyone suggest why this happens?? It seems to happen fairly regularly and not just with me The camera is a Canon 400D.
-
For me - getting the camera in the first place!! I am still a newbie so am learning all the time. Just love this section though, great tips and advice.

Thanks for the explanation Kja. I am guilty of the dark to light shots but it makes sense what you are saying. I have never used raw but wil give it a go.
-
Kja did you edit the photo in PS? Can you explain exactly how you did it please. I had a play in ps with the contrast and colours etc but didn't get the vibrant blue of the sky that you have managed to keep.
-
Maybe a bit OTT??
-
If you are using PS draw around the part you want to move with the patch tool icon then go to edit, free trasform or transform and move it to where you want it. Then you will have to fill in the blank space it has left behind. Hope that makes sense. Good luck

Didn't you like my attempt Quoll I even moved her leg so it doesn't look too silly...
