When I printed off these photos the other day the white seen here in the pics (well I hope the white looks white to you guys also) was very yellowed in prints. Why??? Very noticeable in boxer pup print. Link to piccys http://www.dolforums.com.au/index.php?show...amp;hl=dog+expo

Just on the 18-300 tamron...whats it like in your experience??? With my nikon I got an 18-55 & 55-200 kit lens. The latter I have used plenty. As for the 18-55, not much at all. I saved my bikkies and later got a 50mm. I think the wider range lens as a first up lens is good to work with as you get to learn your settings. Then you can decide where to go from there. As I have only owned my camera just over a year, perhaps some more expert people may be able to advise you..

A Small Tiff In The Off-leash Park
redangel replied to mrs tornsocks's topic in General Dog Discussion
As an owner of a smaller breed Id say that though your boy is boisterous and happy...he may inadvertantly hurt the other dog. A play pounce or roll of a larger breed dog on a smaller breed dog could result in a breakage. Consider this...your boy comes across a iggy cross, bounds up unrestrained and inadvertantly the little dog goes left, your dog goes left also. The iggyx yelps and hobbles back to its owner...would you feel libel for the injury? Of course your boy is friendly, but many a small dog has been acidently hurt by an over friendly larger dog....not all injuries are a result of aggressive behaviour. -
other...showing not breeding ...desexing ensures many health issues dont crop up later in life. ..I think certain breeds need be entire till they are physically mature...I believe mandatory desexing is done as young as possible.

I always shoot in raw. I want to ensure a way a saving myself when the settings I forgot to alter give me a less than desirable result. I dont have lightroom or PS and I tried to adjust it in Paintshop Pro and it just looked a lighter yellow. Too much and it starts to get a bluish tinge. Is this the best I can expect? Noise reduction improves the graininess problem. Is it possible to get it right in a situation where I was taking the photos or is it normal to assume it will need tweeking later? Thanks for the duh reminder Kirslin- My ISO on the shots were very high (3200) as I forgot to reset them from the last outing I was shooting. Normally inside I try auto first, then adjust to my liking, as i am still learning. What would be the average iso say in a nightime room with say only batten lighting as the source (fitted with energy globes) if anyone is bored could they do a few test shots and let me know their data? Puck would be a nice subject Justice yesterday I was sourcing a bounce flash for my camera as I am dissatisfied with the lack of option with the onboard flash. These covers...where do you get them? Id love to try that too. Thanks for the replies I LOVE taking pictures it has so helped me with my agoraphobia . Yesterday I was feeling so defeated with those kids party shots I was feeling like i didnt deserve my beloved d90

Hopefully this has nothing to do with the eyesight question but... I took photos at my daughters and then her friends bday party. I was so disappointed in my photos. They were grainy. They had a cast color (yellow all over) due to the lighting in the houses, skin tones all over the place. Focus could have been better. My pictures are crisp outdoors but indoors any photos I take are sure to disappoint. They seem visually soft if that makes sense? My 700 dollar point n shoot takes a better snapshot in house. Yes I know I am learning...I know at times I inadvertently forget to recheck settings....I adore the outdoor shots ive taken...but inside shots under artificial light seems to be a no go for me. Any ideas??? After my last lot of shots indoor, artifical light im almost thinking my camera should be rehomed.

Ok a while ago I was diagnosed with stigmatism...I need glasses, never filled the subscription tho. Does wearing glasses make photography harder? I tend to manually focus etc.. and didnt know how if at all it affects camera use. Any ideas..or am I just avoiding the inevitable????

I simply cant afford Photoshop so I use Paintshop Pro x2. It is a bit more basic than Photoshop, has some nice extras Elements doesnt. The new upgrade version is now available (corel photo Studio is NOT the same) That being said I cant wait to get stuck into PS when the dollars allow.

....finally caught my lil friend who watches me wash dishes every morning. Cant wait to get a true macro lens...one day...

I know there is many many topics like this but I have a friend who is trawlling the Harvey Normans, Teds and such for a Canon camera. The prices compared to the online shops is quite staggering. I would expect she wants a good Aussie warranty, no grey imports and such. So for the inexperienced could I get a brief comment on what shops are good reliable and offer good backup service. Is there a difference btn manufacturers warranties and those offered as Aussie warranties? Even my bestie is snubbing Nikon sniff sniff...
