Not fussed, but i have a real interest in mismarks! Some of them are very interesting. I love how genetics play out sometimes. Yes I know they are not desired in the show ring, nor desired in the litter..but they have been known to happen and they are interesting. If I had to select a color....I like blue merles...a good deep mahogany coat is nice.

be very interested to see how the responses go. I have a 6mth toy poodle, scratch scratch scratch. No fleas, no positive for ringworm/fungal. Currently on allergy tabs & malaseb...has decreased alot. Coat is soft, but skin is dry flaky in spots like dandruff. Have been adding oil to meals for a week. I was told sardines in oil was good??? Have you had pup checked for anything skin wise?

I take pictures of happy dogs out in the park playing...but only with owner permission! Yes on public land you are not subject ton privacy. This person sounds like an ignorant busybody who obviously had a bad Christmas, her kids dont want to know her and shes looking to cause trouble. I agree...no off lead shes seems to have you in her "retribution against the world" sights. If she continues to follow you at the park when you are doing nothing wrong Id take her photo and timestamp it...if she continues such behaviour Id say she is at risk of being dealt with for harassment. Also then you can lodge counterclaim should she cause trouble. Make a note of the occurrence in a diary. Better still lets just hope it is a one off incident, and she goes off to go pull some wings off some flies.

Used Troy Fly Repella gel on my dobes ears when she was getting bitten by flys....purchased it from the vets. I do believe you can get a fly repella wipes...maybe worth a look into.

My two dogs, Rosie & Luci pretty much ignore the tree. They will take notice if the lights are flashing. Temporary Resident pup however needs to be supervised. I left her for a few minutes to put the kettle on and to my knowledge she stayed put on the couch. Until I saw her sparkly present on the back lawn..yep wrapped in tinsel pieces. So now pup is gated out of the area if cannot see her.

I think the freaky black fly is a soldier fly...and perhaps the other one except its a different color. As for the green eyed, stripy bummed one...not sure! Great shots.

I have a SB600 which has decided to power up but I hear no charging of the flash, no red light. Power cannot be turned off except for the removal of batteries. Tried reset, no change. Where do you send a speedlite for repair in Melbourne???

I consider it important in finding the right person for the right dog. I can understand why rescues seek these days to do everything they can to find suitable homes. That being said however, I do think that some take it a little too far, thus people can get the wrong idea. I was looking for a dog when I was vet nursing and despite working shifts where I could take the dog with me, dog obedience background, experience in owning the breed I was knocked back because despite having good fencing & references I was in a rental. I ended up rescuing a dog from work that was brought in, it moved with us when we bought our first home and we lost her aged 12 to bloat. I understand that there is people out there who only think of dog ownership in the present time or are in love with the dogs profile without understanding the commitment, but I do think sometimes there has to be a middle ground. That being said I still think rescues do a good job & I would never consider not recommending a friend seeking to adopt a rescue dog if it was suitable for their needs.

Thanks Tdierikx, was unaware of the post. So sad. I have seen the kind actions of the Pacers organisation and have nothing but admiration for what they achieved and the people who made it happen.
