About 3 weeks ago we adopted our first rescue from Save a Dog! Heres my story http://www.dolforums.com.au/index.php?showtopic=184622 I found them to be such lovely people on the phone and in person. They were happy to answer all of our questions and for us to spend as much time with her before we took her home. One thing I was surprised at was their lack of questions for us. All they asked was if we had a fence. There was no yard check either. They were happy for us to take our current dog along and let them have a play in a seperate fenced area. Overall all I was really happy with them

I have been really happy with PP. I have been with them for 18 months and had 2 claims that they paid out. Both were around $600. The people I have spoken to on the phone were all really helpful.

I was getting Charch to sit while I took a photo of him and he knew that a treat was coming. Its only started happening in the last couple of months but the minute I get the treats out his mouth becomes a tap and he drips saliva everywhere! Its funny that its decided to start now at 18 months -

I have one that I got direct from Canon - it looks like this: I don't know what it's actually called but the website I got that photo from says it's called "Canon Remote Wireless Control For Canon EOS d-SLR Cameras RC-5" - I just asked a friend who works for canon to get it for me and he did. EXCEPT!!!! Just check - if I remember correctly, you have a 40D? This does NOT work for cameras without infrared such as the 40D. After doing some research I decided on this one - Cactus Wireless Shutter (C3). You can really only get it here, but I got it within a week. Cost around $30. Thanks Nik, just ordered it! Yehar cant wait! -
Yep your right there, she is toootally at home now We do some sort of training with her everyday. She really is picking things up quickly. Whatever the 2 of them get up to during the day totally exhaustes them and they are filthy! Come 7pm they are comatosed !!

I have one that I got direct from Canon - it looks like this: Sweet! I looked at that one. Have you had any problems with it? Im nicely surprised at how cheap they are -
Ok I have to post this one too. Asha does not like having a bath. I had to grab the camera as I was calling her into the bathroom as this face is too cute. Once in there she keeps totally still and waits for it to be over
-
And as much as you want to be cranky at them its also kinda cute Well provided its nothing of mine he's chewed!
-
Fantastic shots! Love the first one.
-
Absolutely agree. Thankyou both
-
No- she didn't really know she was in trouble for chewing the couch- she was reacting to hubby's voice tone/body language. I have always heard that this is true and its from the experts so im sure it is! Will try your approach next time persephone. Just a question about this - When Charch was younger and had done something naughty he seemed to give himself away before we did anything. We would come home from work and he would straight away have the 'my owners beat me face' (Im quoting you there Ruth!) and we would then know that we had to go and find what the little bugger had done! If he hadnt done anything they he would greet us with wags and smiles! Ruth we take them both for a big walk and then some off lead fetch/play time or obedience in the morning. When Asha hits 12 months Cam will start taking her running with him. Her sit, drop, stay and recall are so good now! She's a smart cookie! edited to make sense!

They're really handy! My old one was getting to be a PITA and I have a few ideas that require me to be far away from the camera. And now I can do them! Just gotta get used to the timing of the wireless one - there's a slight delay (half a second or so). Hey I just started looking at one of these. Which one did you get? -
and another I like to call - 'I gots the sausage!'
