I really want to start taking some more street shots and there are so many great little coffee shops, boutiques and specialty shops in the cbd. I spoted this old school barbers on Degraves Lane which is my favorite lane way in the city. I was being cheeky when I took this as I wondered what they would charge the guy in the window?? I doubt it would have taken long

@ carebear. There is a down side! I cant let my legs get spikey because its just not right when your husbands legs are smoother than yours! Arghhh 10pm and I hadnt taken a photo. Not feeling very inspired as all I want to do is go to bed. As you can see someone was already dreaming of possums, bones or who knows what. The light wasnt great so it looks a bit grainy. I cant wait to learn about using flash so I dont always have to rely on natural light. Zzzzzzzzzz...

Day 11 - Attempt 2 at getting a candid shot of a random stranger - FAIL I went out in my lunch break armed with my camera. I saw this cool looking chick with bright red hair and a red dress. Ah ha! she will be perfect! I quickly put my camera up to my face but something wasnt right! What is that?! The hot satay sauce from my noodle box was spilling all down my leg I had to scurry back to work and clean myself up!

This is what made the difference in a kennel to me. Everytime I have picked Charch up from our kennel they have funny stories for me about silly or cute things he did whilst there. They dont take a lot of dogs on at a time so it always feels more personal. It is a husband and wife team who are both so lovely. The wife called me before CHristmas and asked me if I could email her some new photos of him to put up on the wall. They are a bit more expensive than others and I drive an hour out of my way to get there because I dont have to worry ONE bit when im on holidays He doesnt even want to say goodbye and is racing to get inside when we drop him off

Thanks guys 1st shot - My husband was outside with Charche whilst Asha was inside with me. She watched them out the window and cried until they both came back inside. I like how it looks like its raining but its really just my dirty windows The Viszla is ours mates. He's getting old and wasnt too impressed having 3 young dogs around at his house playing flat stick and dont even get him started on the trampoline!

Yup I know that smell well! Some days it is seriously feral. No idea why. We go to Brighton dog beach instead now.

Before I came on DOL there are so many breeds I had never heard of. Because I was interested in learing about different breeds I was that person that asked people what their dog was. Im sure I was way off many times but never meant to offend anyone. Use it as an opportunity to talk about your beloved breed and dont take it to heart

I am starting to want to experiment with using a flash. None of my photos have a flash used and are all in natural light. This is partly because I like the look if them and partly because I only have the flash on my camera that tends to make people look like they are being interrogated. I have started very briefly reading about off camera flash, Ring Flash's, Speedlights, Something about Masters and Slaves (ooh kinky) ??? Wondering what you use for which different types of photos? Ta!
