A friend just posted this on Facebook. River and Trout are two very goofy and fun loving Labrador Retriever brothers and alpine enthusiasts. They like to spend winter weekends at Sugarbush In Warren Vermont playing in the woods and body snurfing or body sledding/belly whopping in the snow.

Hmm I just tried this in Lightroom and got so far before realised I that I had no idea what I was doing! Not sure if you use LR but I went into Export and tried to change the dimentions and it didnt work Change the canvas size in photoshop and fill the background layer with colour, then add a mask to your photo and use gradient to blend then edges of your photo to the background colour Alas no PS for me

I have a Canon 40D which I love. It might help if you post your price range and what you will be mostly taking photos of? (besides dogs of course!) I dont really know enough about other cameras so I'll let one of the experts take it from here!

Oh Helen they are all so gorgeous!

I have only good things to say about pet plan. They have paid out 2 x $500 claims so it paid for itself very quickly. It was a pretty easy process and I found their staff to be really helpful. One occasion (with vets permission) they were happy to pay the claim straight to the vet so we werent out of pocket. Im sure like anything if you ask enough people you will eventually find someone not happy with them though.

Thanks Kirislin, I used my 50mm 1.8 as its all I have!! Well except for my kit lenses. HOWEVER the running shots are using my mates 70-200mm which he has left at my house for me to play with!! Didnt I feel the difference putting that on after the nifty fifty :D

I second that. Don't just sign over ownership of your image, without realising it. Renumeration for each specific use has a certain value. Copyright can be worth a lot more than that, I would have thought a lot more than the cost of a camera and a few lenses. Think about who is using it and what they stand to gain. Thanks Greymate. I will double check everything. Its killing me to not email and ask what I get. I think I will just wait until they call me. Dont get me wrong, thats not the main thing but I do have my eye on some new toys...

That fat little belly had many a rasperrries blown on it.... ok maybe it still does sometimes KnucklesDutchnUs, thanks so much for all of that info. I really an clueless and new to that side of things so wouldnt knwo what to do. I'll definately have a read. Rocco, Ruth suggested the exact same thing :D I wish! Will keep you all posted :p
