As far as I know, that will be in the off-Nationals year - so I guess, 2011. It was quite a big and rather expensive undertaking for our small club - not something they're prepared to let us do each year . Shame...I had planned some travelling next year

She has been very unwell and is slowly getting back into seeing patients. Millpoint Vet is moving to new premises so you'll need to contact them.

Told her Alex can be demo dog as he stood in his sit stay , fell over in his stand stay , then flipped in his down stay this afternoon at K9 When are the Nats again??? Hmm maybe you and I could do strategic pairs - nobody would ever know Guess what we are practicing every day/night ..now if you had come back with Puppy we could've done some training.....

I was concerned with your comment so I asked Sue to reply...to quote her.. I've never said I 'won't' train Sibes or Mallies, but from the few dogs I've seen here they don't seem easy dogs to train, when they do work well they're wonderful! I know in NZ they cross Sibes with BCs to breed excellent obedience dogs. End of quote. Hope that clears a few things

Your Very First Obedience Trialling Dog
caffy replied to RubyStar's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
I use a timer. I also look for the moment after my dog falls back then forges...perfect time to jackpot You have to have faith in your dog to push for their reward. -
