Well My 7 1/2 mth old Foxhound baby girl Bellarell Newline Lacey Face has done it again another RU Group at Mt Perry show today, so far Face has 7 Minor in Group, 3 Minor in show as well as the 2 ru to BIG (all Champ shows) she also has 2 puppy in group at open level. In Baby she finished with 2 baby in show and 4 baby in group. Love my hounds Narelle in SE QLD

Regarding Zone 2 DOTY/POTY Due to fact that some show Secretaries from Zone 2 shows have not yet forwarded results to the Zone 2 2011 host club for the finals. If anyone knows they have taken Best in Show/Puppy in Show/Minor in Show at Zone 2 shows (over 150 Entries) please contact the Zone 2 2011 coordinator, please see schedule in July 2011 dog world for contact details.

That lovely Foxhound lad is Aust. Ch. Mingus Hound Hennessy, owned by Nazrelle on this forum. He is a lemon/badger pied, unusual color and absolutely gorgeous. I love hennessy. Have a real soft spot for him. Wonderful, stunning dog. Thank you Dyzney for you support of my rare breed, you are always so encouraging when I get down with the whole show world and I love you for it. Hennessy is so great to show and always gives his all.

Hi Daisy, yep that is my dog Hennessy, thank you for the nice remark about him, I love my Foxhounds and the breeder of my boys was dedicated to foxhounds and beagles, this was Hennessy's 3rd Ekka and he has had BOB 2 years and was Puppy in breed the first year, he is 3 now and nearly mature. :cry: I am so sad, I should have got 2 mats instead of one,,,,,,,,,,,,,LOVE my new blue K9+ Gazebo mat, and yep I use my boot liner for other things as well the boot liners make awsome covers for my crates at dog shows, waterproof and also great shade in summer, just love the whole range of stuff K9+ sells........... :D

“Zone 2 Dog Of The Year Club Secretaries, please be advised that this year (2011) DOTY & POTY will be hosted by the Bundaberg Canine Club Inc. as per Dog Queensland Rules. (on 3 yearly rotation, with Mackay 2009 & Rockhampton 2010, this year being Bundaberg 2011). As secretary of the host club, I have sent this year’s forms for results, to each Zone 2 club with show schedules in the Qld Dog World, to May 2011. As yet we (Bundaberg Canine Club Inc & myself) have not received the June addition, so the forms for show results, for Zone 2 region, advertised in the June Dog World, will be sent soon. One club (& a rotation host club!!!!) seems a little confused, although being advised by Dogs Qld of the rotation system, is sending their results to ‘last years host’ on last years form, with RU BIS results, which is not eligible this year. The Gympie Kennel Club show to be held on Sunday 26th June 2011 has a judge change for groups 1 & 2. Mrs S Brown (NSW) will replace Mr D Freshwater (NSW)for both Group 1 & Group 2. The entries for this show close on 26/05/2011. Posted for the Secretary Gympie Kennel Club by Narelle O'Neill.

I have just realised I should have added 2011 to my notice Re. Zone 2 towns as the committee changes each year because the Zone 2 DOY/POY rotates between different clubs. Sorry for any mix up. Publicity officer.

Dog of the Year Zone 2 Committee would like you to please note that the Zone 2 area published in the Dogs QLD Magazine (Dog World) is INCORRECT an amendment will be in the next Dog World. The Latitude line is correct but the town name are incorrect, the line is approx just north of Gympie to Makay and to the west of this area, as stated a amendment will have the towns named correctly. Bundaberg Canine Club's postponed shows from February 2011 will now be held in conjunction with the 2011 September shows. First show will be Friday night 9 September and second show will be Saturday Daytime 10 September. FOUR Championship shows at one show ground on the one weekend, come along and have a ball.
