  1. Mosley sneezes on us all the time. It's also whenever he rolls onto his back for a belly rub! I always know its going to happen as he has this big build up of nose twitching and eye squinting so I have time to get away, his sneezes are big
  2. It's interesting isn't it? Lili my Aussie never smells, her coat even sometimes smells nice, like it has a perfume or something on it , but my boy Mosley can get quite doggy and is responsible for most of the smells in the house
  3. Me neither mmax  I'd never heard a dog burp out loud before, it's hilarious.
  4. Yes, we have two dogs who are inside when we're home and sometimes I walk into a room and it's a bit doggy. I use oil burners with essential oils, peppermint is a nice fresh one. That and cleaning/vacuuming, plus I keep windows open as much as possible. My Mum tells me whenever she visits if it's doggy or not  I can't always tell as I live in the place. More than often though it's not. I do accept though, that with two medium to large dogs my house won't smell like a display home  I'm fine with that.
  5. Lucky it was your bum and not the other side I would definitely draw the line at bottoms (back and front)! A couple more annoying things... Poppy burps like a human after eating her dinner... It's really loud and gross, and she is usually sitting next to me at face height on the couch when it happens. She sounds like Homer Simpson. Mosley burps like that too. The first time he did I almost wet myself. It's sooo loud.
  6. it's a public forum, you don't decide who gets to participate.. Tell people not to comment then tell them to go ahead??! Oh dear....
  7. Google earth! That's classic Mosley does 360s too
  8. I have a lot on my mind also, however my dogs take priority and I can say with certainty I will never leave them in the car on a hot day until they die. ETA:I do feel for the guy, I'm sure he's shattered, but he still needs to be sacked.
  9. I agree, I would never forget my dogs were in the car, I talk to them the whole way if they are!
  10. Was it under any kind of shelter? Used to be lots of dogs tied up outside our local supermarket but last week they put signs up saying its not allowed anymore. I would never do it. Too risky and not fair to the dog. I guess you could call the council and ask them if they have a policy on this, I don't know if they'd care? Knowing the RSPCA, long as the dog has water and shelter it's all goodo!
  11. We don't use crates, our two have free range of the house, usually Lili sleeps on the floor next to the bed and Mosley takes the couch :D Both occasionally park themselves on the bed with us.
  12. I think it's a bit different as his job is working with dogs, how could you forget there was a dog in the car if that was the whole reason you were driving it? Don't get me wrong, I know it was an accident and I feel for the guy, but I feel more for the poor dog.
  13. Ask them about the Irish Staffordshire Terrier - not a recognised breed (I don't think).. I am not a breeder but I have had staffords for years. SBT = Staffordshire Bull Terrier AST = American Staffordshire Terrier.. I agree with Nek - get her to scan her pedigree papers so you can see it.. I bet she can't. 'English Staffy' is one of my pet peeves. I prefer to hear them called Staffords or SBTs or their full name (when they are a purebred or are pedigree dogs) My husband is Irish and they call Stafford, Pit Bull mixes Irish Staffys, it's just slang for a common cross breed. He had a Stafford x Pit Bull back which looked just like an Amstaff to me. ,
  14. Yay! Freezing them is great for making them slow down. We have been getting lamb offcuts from Woolies too recently. We've even found some almost as big as lamb necks! They have a bit of bone and lots of meat, the hounds love them.
  15. Yeah, it said they are looking at cats too but dogs would come first due to the research.
  16. Right now, Mosley is noisily cleaning his privates :/
  17. That's what I assumed. I can't see them making it available at the supermarket if it ever did come about.
