Yes! Beautiful ones too :)
-
I wish they all would. I don't always agree with mandatory desexing but as long as there is an out for breeders, with cats, I'd support it. They are far more likely to wander and breed than dogs.
-
Sounds good to me, they should add in laws about cats wandering also.
-
I agree with this,. I don't think any training you do for this would be reliable enough to depend on. How is keeping them fed seperately a bandaid solution? It's about managing the animals you have.
-
I don't dislike anything and name my dogs what I like. I don't really care what other people think about the name.
-
 Mosley does that SM. He will be fast asleep and fart, wake himself up, and swing his head around to see what that nasty noise was
-
9pm here = Zoomie Time! When they were puppies it was all the things you've described. Perfectly normal.
-
Yes that happened to me with Lili, LBD, her chip just wasn't registered anywhere. All fixed now but it is scary!
-
Yeah that's the one issue with chips, they rely on people keeping information up to date.
-
Mosley will sometimes whack his tail on the floor, like cats do, when he's sleeping  No wagging as such though. Both mine grunt, yelp, yip, twitch and air run in their sleep, cuuute!!
-
Nope. Microchips only have the current owners, not who bred them and for working dogs that's important. You can have the breeders details on the microchip, at least in Vic you can.Saw it quite a bit working in a pound.

I know that Steve, as I said, I'm not saying I think it's a good idea. I just think that by saying they're going to shoot the drones down, they just reinforce the impression people who may support this agenda have. As for certain practices being legal, we can extend that to backyard breeding and puppy farms too, but we hardly agree with those.
-
I don't think we need to tattoo anymore, microchips can hold all the relevant information, including a note saying whether dog is desexed or not.
-
I don't know what else they'd be interested in filming?
-
Who are these animal rights loonies who think they can play Big Brother. If its true they have bought a drone to spy on and terrorise people this is just getting freaking ridiculous I agree it's a bit over the top raz. But.... if they do uncover some really dodgy practices, that has to be a good thing. I disagree Aussie. We have authorised departments for this sort of thing. The wannabee vigilantes can piss off with their pretend warfare Fair enough, I see what you're saying and yeah, as I said it's over the top. Do you think that the authorities have partly caused this though, by failing to do what they're supposed to? RSPCA mainly.
-
Would you care if you were being filmed without consent on your own property? I know I would... regardless if I were doing anything wrong or not. Then ask yourself, would you like Animal Lib filming YOU on YOUR property with YOUR animals - and making judgments about how YOU care for them? These are crazy people with an agenda... T. No I would not, however, I am not running a business from my property. I haven't said I think this is a good thing either, just playing devils advocate really, if they're running a business where animal welfare is involved, I would imagine they would want to showcase to everyone that the welfare of the animals is their highest priority and could use this as a way to bring their good practices to light. Or they could just threaten to shoot it.

 Tank is adorable! Love the white eyes he's giving
-
No, I understand the privacy issue, but it is a business, so I don't think it's the same as someone filming a private home.
-
Why would they care so much if they aren't doing anything wrong?

Could he have some Cairn in him maybe? How old do they think he is?
-
My Mums neighbors have a Beagle puppy named Frank  all she ever hears is "FRAAANK!!"

Hi Oliver! He's adorable :) No idea about breed, I'd just call him a wire haired terrier mix.
