Could be my Aussie! Her ears were silly in the photo  as she black/white - no tan eyebrows or other facial colours ...? Nope, must be another one! -

Was it a Fauve?? LOL Just remembered that we had to supply neutral photos for a survey earlier and think it might have been for this one  . I had a Cavalier and must confess that my answers were heavily biased towards my daughter's cavalier who lives with us presently and drives me insane Maybe! I remember now too, I supplied a pic of my Aussie! -

Can Threat Of Life In Prison Help Stop Dog Attacks?
Dame Aussie replied to Panto's topic in In The News
The way I see it being in charge of a dog that kills someone is the same as being in charge of any weapon that kills somebody. I do think owners of dogs that seriously hurt or kill someone should get jail time. Having said that, if only the councils would enforce what laws they already have, it would reduce the number of attacks we see. -
All sounds pretty normal to me. My Aussie is a velcro dog, it can be annoying at times but that's just her. Both my dogs, male/female, desexed/entire, push in at times, it's just cheeky jealous behaviour.

She looks like a curly coated retriever cross or something.

Stab them! that's classic

I'm not a breeder but I remember when litters of pups used to come into the shelter.... their pens were rank, the little mingers

Yikes... New People Next Door With Feisty Dogs
Dame Aussie replied to Mummamia's topic in General Dog Discussion
Jesus, chill out. It's a forum, everyone will have different ideas, isnt that what you asked for? If the ideas aren't to your liking noone is forcing you to try them, good grief. -
Yeah I know someone who's dog got locksed in a cupboard and didn't make a sound, they thought she was missing for a whole day.

Anyone Here From Marrickville Can Answer What Breed It Is?
Dame Aussie replied to Katdogs's topic in General Dog Discussion
Yep, I can attest to the power of an Anatolian/Kangal keeping ANYTHING away from their property  -

Ours fence run with a dog behind us and we have just had to block off any areas they can get to each other. I'd be doing this. -

Sounds like an Anatolian, maybe a cross. I wish I was in the state so I could check it out! When I look at my OH's house in Ireland on google maps you can see his dog in the front yard :) -
Seven months is him moving into adolescence so it can be common for them to start showing different, more challenging behaviours. He is maturing sexually and will start to push the boundaries a bit more so you need to show him you're the boss. A good simple program is NILIF, google it and you'll find some good descriptions. When he had a go at you it's possible he was meaning to have a go at the other dog, I would be careful at off leash parks because as you have seen he won't be as much of a pushover now! If you aren't sure and you are worried then it might be worth contact a professional just to reassure you and give you some ideas.

I call bullshit. Attacked seven times at age 6? I don't believe that. Unless his idea of being attacked, is very different to mine.

Too adorable, look at the little pink feet
