Yeah I don't see why he should be pressured into neutering his working dog Good to see alternatives are popping up though.

A "normal" sized fog to me is my Aussie Shepherd. My Anatolian x is large-giant, a JRT is small and a Chi is toy sized. Personally I like big dogs.

Is This A Standard Groomers Technique?

Bloody hell, doesn't sound normal to me -
Lets see... Max our purebred Boxer died at 11 from brain cancer. He was active and happy right till the end, although he did start to show signs of dementia type behaviour right near the end. Our two littermate mutts (Chi x JRT x Maltese x.whatever else...) died within a few months of each other, at age 17. Chip, the boy had brain cancer and went downhill fairly quickly once the meds stopped working, Belle the girl went blind and deaf and was PTS when she started losing her way around the house etc. (she was also showing sings of dementia). My OH's Amstaff died at 12, he had some gut issues which were treated and then he died in his sleep. Our two now are both 5 and still pups in their heads :)

Yes, exactly.

Even if the cat has a right to be in its front yard, would it be the sensible thing to do? I don't think so. I wouldn't leave any animal of mine in an unfenced yard.
-
Yeah of course, I'm only going off the OP and erring on the side of caution. I wouldn't cope with a working dog and two toddlers so I guess I'm basing my advice on me  Melz will know whether her friend is up to it or not I'm sure :)
-
Will it just be her or does she have a partner that will be helping? I think an hour a day may not be enough while the dog is young, especially with two toddlers I wouldn't recommend any working breed to be honest, it could go ok but if it doesn't she will have a lot of issues with two babies and a BC puppy! Re Aussies, not at all calmer than BC's in my experience, mine is mental and probably wouldn't cope in the situation you've described, attention wise anyway.

Omg pug babies is there anything cuter!?!?

Ours get a heart or two (for the boofer) as a meal sometimes :)

We picked our Aussie as a pup. We wanted a female and there were two so we got to choose which one we wanted. I wouldn't mind a breeder choosing the most suitable pup but I would like to have a lot of input aswell.

Yeah, I agree Santo, it should just be easy to avoid getting a dog that may be in strife. Problem is a lot of people just dont have a clue, I know people who weren't even aware of BSL, what it is it how it could affect them, and they have bull breed crosses Sadly the dogs are the ones that pay. Maybe they should make a tv ad to remind people about the laws? I dunno, it just feels like a lost cause .( -
Do they come in turqoise? That's actually my favourite colour. ETA: meant to say, I'm sure Jed could drive the puppies to their new owners. Just put them in a crate on the roof racks. Mitt did it :)

Lol no, this is not true. We do pronounce W as W. We do have a letter v in German you know  I think you may have watched too many movies with bad German accents in them... F is generally pronounced the same as V though. In words that is. The letter itself is pronounced "eff" the letter V is pronounced "vow" I know there is a letter v, I'm not an idiot. Apologies if I was incorrect but I was told that by a German friend, not from a movie. I'll have to ask her why she'd lie to me!

Pomsky? Lord help me

Does it shoot fairyfloss from its nostrils? My friend has one that does that.

I hate it too. Saying English Staffordshire Bull Terrier is like saying Australian, Victorian Bull Terrier. No English!!

Mine bark at birds sometimes and my Anatolian x barks a lot at dusk but he barks a lot all the time  I don't know if all dogs bark more at dawn and dusk though?
