I agree with Clyde, what's done is done. Also, as with Clyde my main worry would be having an unpapered bull breed. Do you know about Breed Specific Legislation?

Maybe the dog didn't like the fact you were shouting out at them? That may have freaked it out? One of mine is friends with everybody the other doesn't like strangers approaching and will bark. She's fine with people she knows though, both dogs had a similar upbringing.

None of my dogs have ever pee'd on me! Naughty!

I would LOVE to be able to take my dogs to hotels and the like. They're better behaved than some children I see out and about :laugh:

That's what I didn't like about it. Since when did she become the authority on how to treat pets? I don't dress my dogs up ior make up voices for them or many of the things she listed at all, but if it isn't hurting the animal, then how has it go anything to do with her? She sounds like she just wants something to bitch about.

What's it got to do with her if someone wants to talk to their pet or let it lick their face?

Had the same problem with my Aussie. Vet said he thought it was just a bit of dermatitis which can be made worse by the sun. We put cream on and it got a lot better but it's still a tiny bit crusty at times. I don't think her pigment has changed as she already has a butterfly nose with bits of pink. I put sunscreen on but as had been said I dont really know how long it's effective for as she licks it off *roll eyes*

I would probably cut out the weetbix straight away and just transition from the pal.

Yep we get ours at Coles or at the Butcher.Some people don't agree with feeding bones due to the dangers of them getting stuck etc, I guess there's risk with anything but my dogs get bones every day and I think it's good for them. One thing you can do is hold onto the wing while pup chews on it to make sure they don't just gobble them down!

I've never crate trained and both my pups were trained by the method you described above. I think both of them went in the house maybe once or twice each, so it worked brilliantly for us. Some people have other reasons for crate training, ie: for sleeping, showing etc, I'm sure they will give you some advice. I have just never seen the need. Pro Plan is a good food IMO, although just be careful with changing the food over too quickly, do you know what pup has been getting at the breeders? They can get an upset tummy if you change it over too quick on them so maybe phase it in slowly along with what the pup is used to. Nothing wrong with raw mince but I would rather give bones like chicken necks and wings, maybe mix it up a bit? It's good for pups teeth.
