Why can't a responsible ethical breeder breed Pit Bulls? You do know they're still allowed in some areas? Are all the breeders who have ever bred a Pit Bull morons? You'll probably say they aren't a recognised breed but neither are Koolies (just one example), are all Koolie breeders morons?

I'm of the same opinion. A bit of scratching doesn't bother me at all, I love a worn look on hardwood :)

Probably the Supercoat. We had to buy our guys the Pedigree dry once due to running out and having to get the only thing at the servo till the next day and they absolutely LOVED it :laugh: We have fed Supercoat in the past but it wouldn;t be my choice of supermaket dry foods, but yeah, out of those 4 the S/C. I get the same about Tess, she can't possibly be a purebred JRT because she is too small...actually she is 5kg, small but within the range for a JRT bitch...Your some sort of terrier cross might have been sold to you as a pure bred, but I have the feeling its one of those 'pure breads'...and no JRT's aren't supposed to be 10kg, that is way too big for a pure bred Lexi must be crossed with a lab because her coat is too short for her to be a pure Golden Yeah, Lili has a shorter coat as far as Aussies go, and that makes people even more adamant that she is a Koolie.

Unfortunately cats are considered a lot more disposable than dogs, mainly due to the amount of strays that come in, so they don't seem to get the same treatment. This is disgraceful but frankly, not surprising. I agree with the comment, pets are for life, no ifs buts or maybes.

TBH I don't know why I'm bothering to reply to you but I'll just make the point that a lot of us rescued our dogs. I don't support ANYONE breeding pit bulls while BSL exists. And they are my absolute favourite breed. My belief is that we fight and overturn the laws, then the people passionate about the breed can import new papered stock and start again. The fact of the matter is this is never going to happen. More people are breeding them now than ever before, as just like anything banned they are a black market item now. Those dogs who have been brought into the world through no fault of their own deserve a home just as much as any other if they are a nice dog with a good temperament. You come at BSL from completely the wrong angle and I agree, you don't sound like someone that loves dogs at the end of the day. Totally agree with all of the above.

Yep that's what Lili does, she will do it to cushions, pillows and toys, she falls asleep suckling...adorable! She's done it since a pup too.

If it were me I'd just give him the little bit of kibble, won't be a completely raw diet but it's no fun for him to be sick every night.

I wouldn't feed a lot of it and have also heard it is bad, but in saying that I give my dogs leftovers sometimes which have garlic in them and have never had issues.
