Gosh I don't remember off the top of my head! I think they can still be sensitive but not as much? This link has a lot of info though :) http://www.ashgi.org/articles/mdr1.htm I haven't had Lili tested, I just avoid any of the drugs anyway to be safe. ETA: out of interest, who did you test through? Gribbles?

Hmmmmm.....Some kind of Pointer?

Was He Protecting His Brother?
Dame Aussie replied to lovemesideways's topic in General Dog Discussion
 I swear sometimes Lili looks at me as if to say "Why? Why did you bring this goon into the house?!" -
Did someone ask the question why some people have an intense hatred of the Royals? I must have missed that question. May not have been a question but you said: "Agreed. I don't get why some folk have an intense hatred for the Royals either. It seems to directed only towards the British royals." I was explaining why.

Don't hold back now, tell us how you really feel lol

I know, I ranted  Someone asked the question though

Why should we admire them though? They have done nothing but be born into that family, and that family is only where it is through violence and oppression. Why should that demand respect? What do they give back to their community? They are parasites, leaching money from the tax payers and living a disgustingy lavish lifestyle....for what? When did they do something that actually benefited anyone but themselves? Sincere question..... They display an astonishing arrogance and indifference (unless a tv interview offers them the opportunity to gain some brownie points) towards the welfare of the very people their crumbling, defunct empire was (and, in some cases, still is) supposed to be protecting/in charge of. Northern Ireland - needs no elaboration... ETA: Not to mention Prince Phillip and his racist vitriol....good god.

I probably would have done more than just slapped her. How horrid

Ah the joys of puppy teeth  The methods I have tried are as follows: Squealing/yelping when they bite you - this works sometimes but with one of mine just made her more excited! Holding their mouth and pressing your thumb down - they don't like this and it usually gets them to stop. Standing up, turning your back, walking away whenever he bites - they learn that whenever they bite you, you leave. I would try all of these and see if you have any luck!! I'm sure you will get other suggestions too :) He's adorable by the way!

If I gave any of those toys to our dogs Mosley would just systematically rip them to pieces. He's a cardboard box treat toy dog  too expensive otherwise

Every Victorian Should Watch 7.30 Report Tonight 24/8
Dame Aussie replied to Bug's topic in In The News
I know, you can always rely on them bringing up that one case.....still waiting to actually see the dog myself, doubt that will ever happen. The media just call it a Pit Bull now, not even a cross ffs. He was nowhere near as clever or eloquent as the previous guest, makes them just look like a pack of cretins. -
:) That's fantastic!

Was He Protecting His Brother?
Dame Aussie replied to lovemesideways's topic in General Dog Discussion
I'd say he was diffusing the situation yeah. I guess we can never really know for sure. It's interesting, my boy dog LOVES all other dogs and people and my girl is a bit more take it or leave it with both. We walk past this vacant yard most nights, nothing in there, till one night a Lab came rushing over to the fence out of the darkness and scared the crap out of me and Lili who I was walking. It got right up at her near the fence and was quite aggressive, I could tell it had scared her, and my boy was not happy! He was trying to get at the fence and growling under his breath which he NEVER does at other dogs, so I think he was a bit shitty that this one had tried to have a go at her. -

Peter Walsh I wanted to reach into the tv and rip his head off. What a croc. When asked about the legislation all he can do is talk about dogs that have attacked before, when the dog in question did nothing?! Argh! It's madness, these people are morons! On the other side, Graeme was eloquent and intelligent and didn't have to resort to hysteria. -
Separation Related Behaviour In 7 Months Puppy
Dame Aussie replied to Charlotte123's topic in Puppy Chat
Yeah I agree, mine will occasionally dig a small hole, but they don't really wreck anything outside, they have more room to wrestle, run around and play with their toys. Inside is a whole different ball game.... -

God, my dogs have eaten far more than that  What the others said, she's a teenager and she's bored. Possible her outdoor area isn't big enough?? -
I don't think people are keeping the bags for repeated use. Just using what is handy. Yep we use all kinds of things, shopping bags, bread bags, freezer bags and dog poo bags, whatever we can find at the time
-
Awww look at him :) Hope he's home soon.
-
I'd go for a Chi, they have so much spunk and are very cuddly. COuld be a bit barky though? Ours were a wee bit yappy but they were crossed with JRT. Guess it depends on the dog. Other than that a Pug. I've told my OH that we're getting a Pug one day. So much attitude  A whippet could be suitable too. You sound like a great owner so I'm sure you will fidn something that suits :) Good luck!
-
Fingers crossed she's found soon.
-
I know. Lili would have eaten them ALL on the first night.
-
Yep, I have shared an ice cream with mine  My friend used to share her water with her dog, when they were out at cafes he would just drink from the same glass as her.
