Vaccinations (Again)
Dame Aussie replied to Poodle wrangler's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Yeah just a C3 every 3 years for us :) -
Yeah this is what I would do, unless you signed something saying it was non refundable?

Why are the café owners silly? Its purely the dogs owners fault, they have even attacked before and they are still roaming. I don't get the blame the victim mentality, is it the homeowners fault if you get robbed because you didn't have big enough locks on your doors? It would be the same as blaming a farmer for his sheep being attacked by roaming dogs. Because this is the second time it has happened and if it were me that would have been enough to decide it wasn't in the animals welfare to be kept at a cafe.
-
How would you find her if she was being held at someone's house though?
-
Stupid dog owners and silly cafe owners. Why have farm animals at a cafe?? And yes mustn't be very secure if they've been attacked before?
-
If its a bone/raw meal they go outside and sit where they like. If in a bowl they just eat in the same room.

We don't do it. We get my mum to come and stay with them if we're going to be away overnight or we just don't stay away. If it was an emergency then that may be different but I wouldn't do it if I had any other choice.

Sorry to hear this T 16 is a great age.
-
Same here. Ours are rarely bathed and they don't smell.
-
We used to scatter Mosleys food as he would just inhale it. It worked pretty well especially if scattered outside throughout the grass.
-
Melz when I saw it my first thought was it looked like a Pitty cross with a Lab. It wouldn't surprise me.
-
That is freakin adorable
-
Fair enough. Like I said I don't get what they have to gain but who knows.
-
But why?
-
Yeah I don't see what he has to gain from lying about it
-
People don't think things through. It's too easy to get the cute puppy then dump it.
-
Do you think the guy on the news made it up?
-
They said on the news despite having uniforms etc they refused to produce actual ID which is a giveaway. Pretty dodgy.
-
Yep. It can cause a total sh*t storm for the pound!
-
I read it as they returned both sick pups and were refunded for both. Then decided to take only one back and paid the breeder for that one and now want that refunded.

Is My Pup Traumatized? What Should I Do?
Dame Aussie replied to rylst's topic in General Dog Discussion
Me neither. I'm sure he'll be fine though, sounds like he just got a fright :) -
Dog goes to pound because that's where the owner will look for it and where they can access microchip details. Having worked in pounds I despair, people are idiots. How is someone who isn't on Facebook, or just doesn't see your post, going to find their dog in your back yard?? Makes me ragey. if you don't take take dog to the pound you are stealing it. End of story.

Pet Friendly Accommodation With Chickens
Dame Aussie replied to raineth's topic in General Dog Discussion
Lili would try and eat them and Mosley would probably attack her to try and protect them so no one would win :/ -
no dog is fault free No but I'm talking about something so obvious as being obese. That's not a good example of a dog
