Both of ours will lick if allowed. Lili will jump up and give a "kiss" on command :) she just bumps your face with her nose. We both give our guys kisses on the muzzle/head :)

I'd get pup checked for a UTI also. That's a lot of wees for whatever reason. I also wouldn't put pup out for biting, maybe just try and ignore the behaviour or redirect with a toy rather than disciplining her and see if there's any difference :)

Agree with this. The only thing that worked with our Aussie was the thumb under the tongue trick. Yelping etc just made her more feral.

Mine just get them thrown down their throats. I'm a meanie :laugh:

Some of the front attach harnesses are really good as they do enable you to turn the dog in the opposite direction and then let the leash loose when they are walking nicely. The harnesses that attach at the shoulders do encourage pulling in my experience. Yep. Our front attach are really useful for redirecting the dogs.

Some vets advise against bones. I think it's ridiculous personally and the benefits outweigh the very small risks. Our vet complimented my girls teeth and gums last week and said he could tell she gets meaty bones. As long as they are meaty bones and are raw, pup should be fine. We give chicken frames, turkey legs, lamb necks and things like pig trotters. We freeze ours sometimes too which means they can't gulp them :)

Yeah there's a brand that only needs two shots rather than three I think.

Mine have all been done at 6-8 wks, 12 wks and 16 wks but I think some people just get the first two and don't bother with the 16 wks. I only ever get C3 as I haven't found the kennel cough component to be needed.
