From what I could tell they crossed in a pointer somewhere along the way to get low acid dogs. These dogs were then bred into the dally gene pool and some people think of them as crossbreds sort of like the bob tail boxers. I think the whole program is amazing. --Lhok

I often wonder if by banning breeds you are opening up more stupid people to bite as they think well those "nasty" dogs are banned so any dogs still around must be ok for me to walk up to and stick my hand/face/arm/leg in it's face. Poor dogs and owners --Lhok

So, I will be joining this thread again. For a long while (I'll pitch a tent and camp here for a while :p ), after talking to Raiden's breeder who is amazing she has told me if I want another puppy I can have one :) so even though there really isn't any plans for a mating anytime soon I am in this thread again. --Lhok

Chows can be pretty stubborn though so you would have to be willing to put in a lot of work with them training wise. --Lhok

Raiden I collected your ashes today from the vets, I couldn't help it but tears streamed down my face and I sat in my car for ages before I was able to call my hubby to come and drive us home. I miss you so much. You and Missy are in a very safe place side by side. --Lhok

Yeah Raiden destroyed his squeaky bear, and ran away with my mum's ugg boot and one of my daughter's bears although he didn't destuff/destroy them. I also gave him another rabbit looking thing when he first came home and he snuggled up to it and would go looking for it every night if it wasn't in his crate. --Lhok
