Love the photos Fran, I always love photos that you can 'feel'...... I can 'feel' the fun the dogs are having and I can 'feel' your love for your dog.

My Labrador in South Africa use to get fits..... at first the doctor did not want to give him medication but when the fits began to last up to 10 min he did. Most of the time it was when he got really excited..... like when we return after a weekend away etc. but like Schmoo's boss said, even if I did not see the fit I could smell he had one because of the smell of his anal glands. He started when he was about 2 years old, before medication he got up to one a day...... he is almost 10 now and a very happy spoilt Labrador. He was/is my first hart dog and leaving him in South Africa was the hardest thing I ever did.... but I visited him in March when I was there and he is of his medication and did not have a fit in months, he is in wonderful condition, still as silly as a puppy...... I hope Tag is ok, just give him lots of hugs.....

Blue staff..... so those rings are not that tuff.... Mrs Rusty Bucket, that’s what I do with Ringo's Guz toys, I don't leave them with him. Geo, Ringo loves to destroy tennis balls, it is an art.... he peels them like a banana.... (I don't give it to him anymore, it grinds down his teeth ) tdierikx, I buy balls at the sport shop that last quite long, it’s a hollow rubber ball..... he loves them and they are $3 - $5 each.... I buy 5 at a time. jaegertheweim, thanks I will have a look, I would like a treat toy that does not break. koalathebear, this is the Kong I bought yesterday. Ringo always has a Guz, this is three in different stages..... These balls last longer but it's not Ringos favourite, they are more like foam, Ringo likes Rubber balls more..... the one on the right is old and the purple is a new one, we use them on the beach. Edit: Thanks Ms Genki, I have seen the Everlasting Treat Ball in shops, must give them a try.

Wow, it isn't just my dog thats got strong jaws..... Brennan's Mum.... Ringo is an expert in de-squeaking, I don't know how he does it, when I buy him a new Guz (his most favourite toy in the whole world) he de-squeaks it in about 10min without destroying the Guz.... eventaully the hole where the squeaky was wil get bigger and bigger until I have to throw it away. koalathebear, he breaks them at the little indents.... so in 3 pieces..... the one I bought today still got 2 rings together... I'll take a photo of the toys I still have GG85, maybe I'll get the Medium black one tomorrow and see if it last. Heavypaws..... $60 is alot ... but I have spend a lot more than that on toys in the last 6 months. Thanks Burkes, is this the rings you talk about?

Arms.... normally I don't mind him destroying his toys.... but Kongs are expensive! At this rate I’ll be broke within a month..... I buy the $2 bags of toys at the salvos for him to kill...... but love the Kongs (with treats inside) for when I have to leave them alone. GG85.... I will go and have a look thanks. Does anyone know of another treat toy that’s really strong?

Ringo just killed his new Kong within 30 min........ He destroys ALL toys...... even Nandi's puppy toys... Balls (his personal favourite), Soft toys.... (he likes to torture them slowly... pulling out all the white fluffy stuff until they die..... ) O yes and Squeaky's are the worst , he will hunt them down an KILL them instantly.... Kong’s he had killed: The one i bought today... Nandi's Kong........ The only surviving Kong..... Are there any more Kong killers out there......they did not have the black one at the shop today..... will it make 'n difference???

Clicking Mad, the lens came with another attachment, it says Schsteinar 0.45X Professional Hi-Definition Digital Wide Angle Lens....what ever that means...... I took it off when I took that photo......

At first Ringo would get up every time Nandi tried to snuggle but now he loves snuggling with her.

I have doggy wet wipes, it helps for when my dogs smell before their next bath.

He is sooooooooo cute....

My MIL gave me a 'close-up attachment lens' (I think that’s what they are called) last year but I never used it until today and I like it. :rolleyes:

Thanks GG85, Ringo knows 'saggies' (gentle) but Nanid does not..... I started teaching it to her but she still got some way to go.....

. Thanks for the reply Sandra777. That was the problem Ringo is not that 'well balanced'.... I don't know how his life was before (he is a rescue), but he does not like all dogs and can get snappy if they get in his face. I know now that he will never hurt her, but when I first got her I had to be extra careful. I never thought of leaving her alone.... (she is crate trained and will stay in her crate without crying) but I should probably let her be alone more.

I have a 17 week old JRT puppy (Nandi) she and Ringo (3 year old JRT) has become really good friends.... they sleep together, play all the time.... etc. The problem: At the beginning I told Ringo off for growling at her, het stopped when he realised its actually fun to have another dog to play with (he only growled at her the first week or so). The last couple of days Nandi has been getting really worked up when they play and I can see she is hurting him. He will grow and snap back at her (not aggressively, just telling her off) but then immediately look at me. Should I just let them sort it out themselves?

H = Husband walking the dogs.... Forgot about I J = Juggle, my son juggles really good, I ask him to juggle for me, had a little fun with LR..... he is gonna kill me for posting this one... Another one....
