Nandi is getting desexed the 30th of September, tattoos are standard with the desexing.... how important is it to tattoo her ears (she is microchipped as well). I must say I don't like the idea that much..... Ringo's ears are tattooed but you can't see it when his ears flops back... I'm afraid her ears are still too small and they will tattoo them closer to the edge... does that make sense?

Do you think they enjoy it....they look afraid to me..... ;) Maybe its just the photos....

Love you photos Skitch... I didn't take a lot of photos, mostly just of Nandi.. The 'oldies'... the Grey dane is 9. The Kangal won a prize, can't remember for what.... I also talked to the owner, its a beautiful dog. Nandi, she was sleeping on my lap.... to much fun for one day. Playing with a friend.

Harley, I arrived about 11h15, but didn't see you.... Nandi is not so small anymore, she will be 6 months the 29th of September. Congrats, Pele and Maddie!

Whiskedaway, I think the DOL dogs were the cutest dogs there..... ;) Nandi got a judge's choice for 'best dress'..... Although I enjoyed the day, I was there 2 years ago and today was not nearly as good.

Mrs tornsoccks, Archie's is cute.... does she ever get into the bath? I had a labrador in South Africa, whenever he heard the bath filling he will come running, the problem was he did not stop, just jumped stright in! itsmeg, my shower (and bath) are so small... a great dane wel NOT fit in it....

Minxy.... Nandi does that also, she licks the water off my legs.... Shell, Nandi is like that.... if I close the toilet door she will cry and when I open it she is so happy you would thing I was gone for hours . Edit: Thanks Harley

tlc... I have one of those Panasonic tough cameras, I bought it because I don't take my 'real' camera to the beach, but love beach photos. carebear... because Ringo has a short coat he showers with me once a week, he does not 'like' it but will stand there to make me happy.... Edit: Skitch we posted at the same time, sounds like your greyhound and Ringo are the same. Pixie, Nandi steals my shoes....

My dogs love it when I take a bath...... they try to eat the bubbles and will not leave until I let the water out. Oooooo bubbles! You distract her and I'll steal the bubbles.... Mmmmmmm...... I'll never help her again, I did not get any bubbles..... Any other photos?

How does the competitions work.... do you just enter on the day? I bought Nandi the cutest little dress at the show.... I hope its warm on Sunday, it’s a 'summer' dress...

Thanks tikira, I love taking photos of them. I had to google 'mower catcher'.... my brain's not working today... PRADA68, I love JRT's but that’s one part of them I wish I could change. Thanks Ravyk, I went outside after work and the dogs ran straight to the place they cornered the lizard yesterday, it was not there. Ringo did a quick scan of the back yard and did not find anything. Souff I don't know why I didn't think of it.... maybe it's still in my neighbours yard, I'll fill in the space. Lovemymutts, I would love to have lizards in my yard...... but I love my doggies more.

He went under the colorbond into my neighbours’ yard. I'm working tomorrow but will leave the dogs inside the house just in case he comes back. I did not know they can get so angry...... it almost gave me a heart attack.

Ringo will kill it too.... They are not easy to catch..... it almost bit me.... It run into my neighbours yard (they don't have dogs), hopefully it will stay there.

So it won't go back to the back garden? I don't want it to get killed....

There is a big Blue tongue lizard in my backyard and my two JRT's 'found' it. If I leave it back there they will try to kill it, Ringo caught one a couple of months ago. What can I do with it.... can I catch it and release it some ware.... is that legal? The dogs are inside for now.

I was walking Ringo and Nanid in a green strip two weeks ago, a guy was walking an off lead Golden Retriever puppy (beautiful dog ).... it came running towards us. In my effort to keep him away from Ringo I accidently dropped Nandi's lead..... and she just took off running, with in seconds she was meters away..... I knew she had NO recall but gave it a try, I only said (screamed ) 'Nandi' once, she stoped and looked at me.... when I saw I had her attention, I went crazy.... come girl, come girl... and she ran back to me, I could not believe it. I was so proud of her.... tried her recall again at home and she just ignored me.

It's official.... you can't take a bad photo. Love them all.....
