Aaaawwww poor Nandi Hope she's feeling better soon. By now she's probably jumping around and your trying to keep her quiet It's amazing how quickly they bounce back. It is impossible to keep a JRT puppy quite..... for some reason she just want to do zoomies ..... Hope you guys enjoy your 'play date'....

Glad your dog is ok... Nandi was desexed on Thursday and I never realize how active she was until I had the job of keeping her still..... it’s almost impossible. She is in a big crate (2 x her normal crate) 60% of the time with short walks/breaks every hour or so... the moment I let her out she goes into full zoomie mode.....

I don't know.... I am suppose to 'hand strip' her but have no idea how... She looks really bad at the moment, she was desexed on Thursday and they clipped her one leg and her belly.... :D tlc, do you live close to the beach? Your dogs always look so free... :D

We won't be there.... Nandi was desexed today... poor girl, hope she is better tomorrow...

Love all the photos.... Tlc..... do you find it more difficult to take 'in focus' photos of long haired dogs? It is much easier to take nice 'sharp' photo of Ringo than Nandi.... Ringo and Nandi... they are actually on lead. I edited hubby out, he was standing behind them...:D Ringo, Nandi and their best friend Lollie Blossom Not really a Portrait, but don't they look good in their matching coats.... :D

Ringo loves his Bad Cuz toys, he takes the squeaky out within the first minute.... but after that they last longer than most other toys. Not bad considering he brakes the small red kongs.... ;)

Nandi is getting desexed the 30th so maybe we should go and have some fun before the big op.... I am already stressed about the op.... :rolleyes: .

Ahhhhh..... he is gorgeous!!!! :rolleyes: He looks a lot like Nandi at that age..... I walk my dogs for about an hour every day and after school my son usually plays with them for another 30 min or so.

Nandi started doing that 2 weeks ago.... I remembered reading on DOL about dogs that get obsessed with it so I stoped it every time I saw her do it... after being told off I couple of times she stopped. It does look funny thou.... she had so much fun doing it. ;)

I have two JRT's..... they don't destroy my stuff.... they don't bark except when someone knocks on the door, I then tell them to go into their crate (before I open the door) and they will sit there without barking until I let them out again. They are not that busy either..... if I decide its time to settle down I just put their toys on top of the fridge and they know... playtime is over.... most of the time they are just happy to be with us. Ringo does destroy toys and he is really obsessed with balls.... ;)

I worked at a Dog grooming salon for 2 years and saw some really bad tattoos close the tip of the ear (on the inside).... must say it's more obvious on white dogs. Not a big issue..... just don't want to see a big blue tattoo every time her ear flops over.... Maybe I can ask them to show me where they will put it and if i'm happy, mark it and tell them not to go outside the lines....

Thanks for you input guys.... looks like it basically comes down to personal choice, I would love to think my dog will never get lost, but like Andisa said, it can happen. Must say I never thought of the puppy farms steeling dogs that are not desexed.....

I don't think its law in South Australia... it's just something that the vet does when desexing... they did say if I don't want it to be done I should write it on the forms. If they scan her microchip they will find me, so it wont matter if they know that she is desexed or not......?? Can the macrochip get 'lost'...??
