Thank Aubrey and Chloes dad, I am beginning to think my husband wasted his money buying this fancy camera.... there is so many things to learn and I know nothing! ;) I read and read and read.... it's just to much to remember (expecially if you don't anderstand what your reading ), I need someone to show me. Aubrey, do I need to register for the course, and if yes, where? In addition, I don't have PS and don't have money left for CS3 or 4, will PS Elements 7 be ok?

  8. I'm knew to this, but will try....... 1. Out the front of my house a Bee; Nikon D90, 55mm, 1/500s, F/8, ISO 200 (auto). Croped. The neighbours cat; Nikon D90, 40mm, 1/200s, F/7.1, ISO 200 (auto). 3. Communication My letter-box; Nikon D90, 22mm, 1/200s, F/10, ISO 200 (auto). Croped.
  9. Thanks polomum, will have a look, I have so many things to read..... and learn. I am on page 22 of the manual now, only 256 to go..... I was wondering, with the Image quality, on what setting do you normally take photos; NEF (RAW)+JPEG fine, normal or basic - NEF (RAW) - JPEG fine, normal or basic......? I know this is not a 'good' photo, still taken on auto, but with my old camera, I could never take actions photos like this.

  11. Polomum, I definitely need to do a course because I know nothing ..... the problem is after buying the camera there's no money left to do a course. ;) Edit to ask: What does faster mean, I know it sound stupid...... ;)
  12. My husband just bought me the Nikon D90 for Christmas!!!! He bought a kit with a Nikkor AF-S DX 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR and Nikkor AF-S 55-200MM f/4-5.6G VR lens. Will these lenses be ok for a beginner like me; up until now, I always used the auto mode? I have so much to learn! I am too afraid to open the box.......... ;)
  13. Hi, I am looking for grooming work, I don't have any experience, but I am a fast learner and hard working. It has always been my interest to work with animals and I have been looking for grooming jobs but they all say, "Must have experience". I am willing to do any additional training, which might be required. We have just purchased a house and have therefore permanently settled in Adelaide.   14. OK, I'm not a photographer but love photos, especially if its dogs. Since there are no photos in this challenge (yet)......... Camera: Panasonic DMC-FZ20 Lens: 35mm (?) I have no idea what the settings are.... sorry. What? I won't eat them! Never! Grrrrrr....... ok I am a JRT, what did you expect? Ok, this was taken 'n few weeks back, but the ball is also from his toy-box........ Edit: Spelling (again)
