  1. Yes I think it was Fluorescein drops, but it did not show a scratch on his cornea. Thanks
  2. My JRT started to scratch his eye a lot Sunday evening, I could see it was sore. I took him to the vet yesterday and she did use the die and checked the eye out but did not see a scratch on the cornea. They gave me Amacin Eye and Ear Ointment to put in his eye. He was not opening his eye all morning, but later, I did get a look and his eye is going cloudy.... :D, should I keep on using the Amacin or stop? I will take him back to the vet tomorrow but I am stressed now because I know there is some ointment you should not use if the cornea is scratched..... Please help.
  3. Has anyone done a course at Diamonds? They have a - Digital SLR Course - NIKON/CANON. I just want to learn how to use all my camera settings. 10. This was so funny, in my language "dof" means "blurred", so when I first read rugerflys reply I thought, "Wow rugerfly knows my language", because of the blurred (dof) background. Then I remembered Depth of field.... :D Thanks Vickie, I'll try that.
  11. Beautiful photos everyone! :D I didn't have any new photos so I decided to take some now, past 10 at night, poor Ringo, I need another dog..... When he sees the camera he sits and look bored, " O no, here we go again....." OK, this is my first attempt at using Flick....... hope it works. One of my first ones. Edit to put more photos in....
  12. Yes! How did you know.... It focus but doesn't focus where I want it to focus.... that sounds stupid, I know. I tought I'll practice some more before I ask for help, but I have been so busy. Rugelfly, that's beautiful photos. This is one of Ringo, I didn't edit it (sharpen), see the nose???? This one is a little dark but in focus, I think the F was much higher F/11 where the other one was f/2.8, but then you don't get the nice background.
  13. Oh thats great, have you posted any pics from it yet, maybe I missed them?? No, I haven't, it's not easy taking photos with the lens, or maybe it's just my camera skills... I will post some photos later and ask for advice, I can't get the focus right.
  14. WOW Ruthless, they are beautiful! I don't think there is anything wrong with your lens......... I want your lens.

  20. Yes, South Africa, I love the Australian wildlife, different from SA but wonderful. I found this little man on my lemon tree and it gave me a fright, they don't bite, do they? I just left it there and told the kids not to touch it (as if they would... ).
  21. I can't go in there.... I took these a month before we came to Australia, not that 'good' but I love them and look at them when I miss my country.
  22. I'm with FionaC, I have a Nikon D90 and I love it! (however, not an expert, still have a lot to learn)
  23. Beautiful photos Kirislin! I'm glad you got the lens you wanted - enjoy!
