I do not go to events I need to wear fancy clothes . However would love to win this for someone I know via Dol who really wants to go and deserves to have a special evening .

This is what we did to prevent any potential escape artists digging under weather board house.Sheep yard mesh dug in at least six inches .The last few sections can be bent outwards before burying but we did not do that.We only had one side to do as two sides in front garden and back section has concrete .Front is fenced but dogs only go there supervised as always worry someone will let them out. Dogs sometimes dig under houses not originally to escape but it is a refuge for all sorts of interesting smelling critters Not cheap to do but cheaper than potential vets fees and council fines . I have to say after just reading this OH did the work I just supervised .

Lovely pics everybody so many beautiful special relationships shown. This was the beautiful Bongo some years ago who just turned up one day on the farm we lived on.Sadly we did not have him long as he died after surgery. He just jumped straight in with one of the dogs in their basket on arrival. The dog was my OH's retired work dog ,Ken Dog not that he ever did much work!

Beautiful pics everybody . I took this photo just now .Jay the white dog is at least 12 and staying with us temporarily.Alfie suddenly decided that the only way he will get his bed back is to share and a cool change here .Been a bit hot for sharing and caring Jay is such a joy and is having a ball even learning to wait at gates but the door is going to take longer. She charges along like a rocking horse. We love her and so do our dogs .

We have stayed over night at a motel twice that has 2 rooms dogs are allowed inside. We had 2 biggish dogs with us so not sure of limit.A small fenced area the dogs could eat and toilet in.Basic but cleaner in bathroom than some more up market places .I would have preferred vinyl on floor to the carpet just in case .It was lovely as so many places say dog friendly but dogs not allowed in rooms when I asked.Wonder if it depends on local council regulations. We looked at doing B&B a few years ago but so many regulations . We have stayed at Best Friends but that is a different market to what spiff's place sounds like. spiff if my OH sleeps in the car does that mean 3 dogs can sleep in room ?He can sleep anywhere but the boys like to stetch their legs I am sure you will have some happy doggie visitors. My dogs are very nosey so if floor length windows lots of dab marks to clean!

That is such a lovely thing to do ruthless and the extra exposure on this thread may find a home or two for these special doggies. The oldies dumped at the pound have the biggest betrayal and their pleading eyes are so heart breaking.Toots and Powerlegs always march on and help the needy souls. Living with an older dog is just like having a favourite elderly Grandma or Grandpa staying except they do not repeat the same story umpteen times Anyone considering adopting a senior dog ........the joy they give is very special.

I wanted to wear something doggie for a rescue fundraiser. I bought a Christmas badge with hat attached and glued photo on. Thought to do a few would be cheaper to just use an appropriate photo printed out on light cardboard with pin attached.

What a lovely dog she must have been and how lucky you two were to find one another. Having to make the decision to let our dogs fly free is hard . Please speak to somebody you feel comfortable with it will help you just talking about your special dog. Planting a tree or shrub in the garden really helps .In time those wonderful wiggly bum memories and all the other lovely memories you must have will be those you wake to. "Good Friends live in our hearts forever"

Please if anybody can help me find Dog Coat knitting and crochet patterns allowed to be photocopied and then coats sold for non profit groups.A lot of the free patterns do not allow this when you read the fine print.I need patterns for people who do not use computers. My computer is too slow to do lots of searching.Albury Dog Rescue doggies will benefit from this fundraising project.Sewn coats are being made too . Thankyou..Dodo.
