  1. Oh and be careful if you think of desexing her and rehoming her without offering her back to the needed first..... She may well sue you for desexing her and ruining her program, this may be the only bitch left in these particular lines and that will cost you a small fortune. I know of a similar situation and the owner was taken to court and lost because of the contract. The breeder won. Please contact the breeder
  2. PP, I am not going to have a go at you, youve already been given that from others so what i will suggest is that you contact the breeder and discuss the matter with him/her. They may well give you your money back OR a partial refund as they will have to care for the girl until they find her a new home (food, vet bills etc). A contract is just that, a contract. If your breeder was to break the terms of the contract I am sure you'd be screaming 'but we have a contract'. Yes contracts are meant to be fair for both parties as they are meant to [twitter][/twitter]look after everyone, but most importantly they are there to look after the welfare of the dog. Did you research Rottweilers before making this purchase? A bored Rottweiler is a destructive Rottweiler. Rottweilers love company and don't do well as a garden ornament. What age is the dog? Have you thought of going to a professional trainer to help you fix these problems rather than disposing of the dog? What is causing the dog to bark? Have you thought of building a safe area for her, such as a large dog run that way your garden will remain as it is and your dog will be happy in her own designated area. There are many alternatives than rehoming, but in all honesty it seems as though you've taken on more than you are used to. Rottweilers are not for everyone, they are an acquired taste and that's why most f us are quite thorough in our selection of homes for our puppies. The amount of homes I rejected for Jett's last litter would astound you. Please speak to your breeder, you may find that you are worried over nothing.
  3. She is gorgeous Allerzeit, LOVE the name, ESP her call name ;)
  4. I missed it too Dyz, I watched Chanel 9 hoping they would do a story on them.
  5. Please email me a flyer - when I've fed the dogs I will take them down and post them everywhere in Bacchus Marsh, also the Toolern Vale store if it hasn't been done already. [email protected] Sylvia Done, thanks Sylvia, much appreciated.
  6. Have also asked if Troy can post the flyer on the Dogz Online Home Page
  7. Troy, can you please pin this until CJ and Chevy are back home please, we don't want this thread being missed by anyone. Thanks Trina
  8. Dogtainers have been advised Thanks so much for everyone's help, I know Sam and Karen really appreciate everyone's effort in helping to get CJ and Chevy safely back home!

  11. Stolz asked me to pass this one: Please click on the link below and hit FLOCK IT - this will bump the page up to the top of the list on latest headlines on Nine MSN News. Thanks Trina http://news.ninemsn.com.au/national/8296908/dogs-worth-20000-stolen-from-vic-home
  12. No new 15 mins ago, both CJ and Chevy were still missing. Local authorities, vets, pounds etc have been advised, extensive letter drop in area as well as 50 notices being put up. They were in a secure yard and there is no evidence of how they would have gotten out, CJ is 8 weeks pregnant so jumping is out of the question, it has been presumed that both CJ and Chevy have been stolen. Will update when I get more info from Sam.
  13. Thanks Helen, will let you know how I go.
  14. Thx Suz have sent them an email Thanks anyway Clair
  15. I'm appalled at the state some of these dogs appear to be in, hair wrapped around their teeth matted fur, maggots you guys don't charge enough! Don't these people care about their pets! How would they like maggots in their hair, bloody disgusting and shouldn't be allowed to have animals
  16. Suz, David and Marg Metcalfe. I know some photographers but they dont specialize in dogs, I'd prefer someone who photographs animals and even better if the do dog show Fussy much???? Hehehe
  17. Yes David's a member of our Club so asked him before anyone as we support our members first. Unfortunately David can't make it that weekend and another rottie person who's close to our club will be in th US til the 26th so can't make all 3 days.
  18. I have been tasked with finding an official photographer for our National. I have already contacted 2 photographers known to the club but they are unavailable so here I am, the best place to come to find things. We need an official photographer for 3 days to take photos of the dogs. Pls contact me if you think you can help. Need to know what you charge, what that cost includes etc etc. Thanks Trina Pls contact me at [email protected]
  19. I am so with you Cat :vomit: so glad mine are wash'n'wear
  20. I've not read past the 1st page but I would suggest putting up a sign that say Strictly By Appointment Only, have 2 separate phone lines, one personal, one business which has an answering machine linked to it so they can leave a message. Running a business from home is not easy, you need to 'try' and keep them separate. Have business hours and try to stick to them. I personally think the client was rude to assume you would drop everything and come home and groom his dog! FFS you have a life to! Imagine you were a hairdresser working from home and someone just rocked up expecting to get their haircut, you could have had another client who made an appointment and another following that one and then he'd have had to go home. I would have said NO you need to make an appointment, but I'm fond of that word lately
  21. I received my prize today :D Thank you so much Kylie, it's lovely and will get lots of use
  22. Ummmmm..... am tipping 'puppy breath' isn't all that attractive now no wonder you asked me if I wanted them last week ;)
  23. I posted it on FB, lots of Rottweiler breeders and exhibitors overseas are also voting NO and reposting the link in their FB status. FB is very a very useful tool, just like DOL Thanks to everyone for voting NO
