Congratulations on the safe arrival of the puppies Remblak, I am so sorry to hear that one didn't make it... God Speed little one

I agree with Staranais, write to the ANKC and post it on the MDBA website, the more people who know about what the ANKC are trying to do, the better.

We have a conference call booked for tomorrow night with all the State Clubs delegates - depending on the outcome the NRC(A) will send out a letter (I cannot see their will be a problem, all the clubs need to agree so that the NRC(A) can act).. Some States have sent letters to their States Kennell Clubs already as have many of their members

Well done! Were you the only Rottweiler there? No, there were 5 Rottie's there on Sunday and 4 on Saturday We're really getting a great following in Herding with Rottie's in Vic now (thanks to Dyz for leading the way :D ) Congrat's Trina, you and Jett did a brilliant job I might as well add my own brag as well seeing as I'm here ;) My young girl Fire also passed her Instinct Certificate & got her HT title on Sunday, making her the 3rd one from her litter with a herding title, and it's even better being their breeder ;) As Rottisliebe said, there were plenty of Rotties out on the weekend! Theere were dogs entered in Started A, PT, HT and HIC Well done Rottisliebe, your E litter is doing so well

Since our only defence at the moment is that as they are associate members they must adhere to the FCI rules and regulations, what could we do to prevent the removal of SchH titles from pedigrees if they do withdraw their membership from the FCI? I dont think we'd have a snow balls chance in hell if they disassociate

Perhaps you could send them vouchers instead. ie... if You use Artemis (as I do), then you could ask if they could sell you a voucher so that the puppy buyer could redeem in their state. In other words rather than getting a bag of food Artemis the puppy buyers gets a voucher to the value of a bag of food - this would be attached to a list of suppliers in their state Vouchers are a good idea in essence...but....I thought the point of sending a puppy off with food in it's puppy pack was to ensure that it had what is currently in it's diet on hand, so that the new owners didn't change it's diet suddenly by ripping out to the only supermarket that's open, when they got home and realised they didn't have anything to feed the new baby!! Sometimes people get a bit forgetful and disorganised when they're excited. As you all know the first day in a new home is not the time to change pups diet. It gives them some time to do it gradually if they choose to. Yes but the smaller bags dont cost much to send whereas larger bags cost a bit, so you send a smaller bag with a voucher. I didn't mean to just send the voucher

MonElite, just keep doing what you are doing, keep putting pressure on. Put a motion to your Club to put in a submission to the ANKC to make sure this is not passed at the AGM. We need to stand united on this.
-
Fighting with each other will get us no where!! It doesn't matter if the GSDCV started this or not, that's not the issue. The issue at hand is that we need to get submissions into the ANKC to oppose this and make sure the decision stays reversed. We also need to make sure our CLubs are represented and discuss the submissions, which the rottweiler Clubs are doing.

We too have a National Council (National Rottweiler Council of Australia) that acts on behalf of the State CLubs, however they cannot do anything without the majority of the clubs agreeing
