Heidi would be a professional thief. She makes it a daily thing to steal something from each and every room. Only problem is that she comes to show me everything, and if I ignore her, she wiggles and wiggles more....... so, maybe a thief that wants to negotiate the goods that need to be returned. edit to add that I'm not a thief..... I'm a stay at home mum.

Great news for those who are trying it and loving it.

oh... I feel terrible cause I have no advice, BUT, that pic is awesome. !!!!!

I always use high quality treats when off lead somewhere. I let her know I've got b'cue chicken when we get there, and I use a silent whistle. I would say I have a near 100% success with this, rather than when I am calling from the other side of the oval. The whistle sounds exactly the same everytime, so she knows full well what it means. The only time I tend to have issues is when she's found something horrid to eat that someone has left at the park. Then I have to do the bolt towards her, and it makes my blood boil.... luckily that is rare though.

Lovely pic. Blue's her colour.... suits her.

So good when you get to see the results of work put in. I'd be happy too. Cheers.

What a tragic situation. Thoughts are with all of you.

I think the 5 litre bottle is worth it. As mentioned yesterday, I was send a box of Odour Go goodies. They also sent 2 Airfresh Odour Blocks, which kind of look like a candle.... a solid block. One is peppermint scent, the other is lavender. I opened one to put in the bathroom/toilet, and the other is sitting in a nice little candle holder on my dining room table. These are fabulous, and I have looked through their website to see how much they are and if I can get more.. for the school bag cupboard which also stores school shoes, sneakers etc..... a bit stinky sometimes. As you can see below, I am just loving all my products.

mmmm....ok, winter stink up around our new chiminea. Loads of baked beans for dinner. Then we'll see who deserves the most sprays. By the way, decided to get really active and change more bedroom sheets. This time in the girls rooms, and I spritzed a bit of the lavender odour go around the air and on the flyscreen of the windows. Extremely pleasant... nothing like I expected. I thought lavender might be a bit overpowering, but it was very nice. Hubby comes out of bathroom after I'd recently pepperminted the drain in there and says "who did a minty poo"

I also got some solid blocks, one peppermint and one lavendar. I will use these in my toilet at home to rid any nasty smells. The scents I have got to try are : Peppermint, Lemon, Natural, Musk, Lavender, and Talc. I've just changed my bed sheets, and sprayed mattress with the talc. Smells good so far. Nice and fresh. Then I sprayed my bathroom with a bit of peppermint. Smells very fresh.

Well I'm a bit excited this afternoon. I received a package in the mail. Lots of bottles of odour go in several scents to try. I was squealing to my friend in the kitchen, who ended up just as excited. ........... funny what females get hyped up about. And this is all because of the amount of enquiries odour go has received since this thread started, and people started emailing supplier.

Anne, I remember the thread. And it was me who suggested it. Good stuff hey? How did you find the scent?

What Would You Class As Excessive Amounts Of Water?
VJB replied to bell's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
I'm not experienced in this kind of stuff, but my vet recently wanted me to measure my dogs water intake. I know it had something to do with weight of dog per litres of water in 24 hours. By the sounds of it, I think your dog is having an excessive amount. Maybe worthwhile making vet appt and having a chat about it. -
What Would You Class As Excessive Amounts Of Water?
VJB replied to bell's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
How much does your boxer weigh? I would say it is a little on the excessive side, but I'm unsure by how much. It would be worthwhile putting out a specific amount of water and getting an exact measurement. -
How about a Lagotto? They do not shed hair, so require a complete clip at least once a year. They are probably knee height and very adorable natures apparently. General Appearance: Small to medium sized dog, well proportioned, powerfully built, of a rustic [hardy] appearance, with a dense, curly coat of woolly texture. Temperament: A natural gift for searching and its very good nose has made the breed very efficient in truffle searching. The former hunting instinct has been eliminated, hence his work is not distracted by the scent of game. The Lagotto is tractable, undemanding, keen, affectionate, very attached to his owner and easy to train. He is a very good companion and also an excellent watch dog. Colour: Off-white solid colour, white with brown or orange patches, brown roan, brown solid colour (indifferent shades), or orange solid colour. A brown to dark brown mask acceptable. Sizes: Height at withers: Dogs from 43-48 cms [17-19 ins] (Ideal height: 46 cms [18 ins] ) Bitches from 41-46 cms [16-18 ins] (Ideal height: 43 cm [17 ins] ) Weight: Dogs about 13-16 kgs [about 29-35 lbs] Bitches about 11-14 kgs [about 24.5-30 lbs]

Heidi like fruit too. I use to make iceblocks for her out of cut up water melon, banana and rockmelon. Put in containers with water and freeze. She loved them. She'll also like to share a plum with me, and loves a cored apple with peanut butter in the middle. I freeze these too.

16Paws, whats the verdict on the Lavender fragrance?

I found naturally smoked pig trotters today but didn't purchase Ivy any as I wasn't sure how fatty they would be? She's sensitive to fat. So I'd be intereted in any answers too .. Belgian.blue, if you are after something for your Dora, you must try venison ears. 99% fat free, and my dog loves them. Heidi can have one daily, and there have been no issues. She is sensitive to fat too.

Interceptor Spectrum Tasty Chew
VJB replied to all that glitters's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
That's fine for tablets but these chews are huge. This is the only way you can buy Interceptor now. I never had any trouble with the old Interceptor tablets with one dog that just took and swallowed them and the other, that has an aversion to anything tablet shaped, I broke them up and tossed them in food. I know, I was a little shocked when I opened my packet too. Heidi didnt want to eat it at all, so I had to chuck it down her throat. I would cut it in 2 pieces if you think it's too big. -
Interceptor Spectrum Tasty Chew
VJB replied to all that glitters's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Its very quick if you just pop her mouth open and chuck it down her throat. Once you get use to this it is really easy. I then give a treat after. -
Hope things get sorted quickly. Poor pup, and poor you.

Glad you got a reply. He emailed me the same time. to say he'd resent you a reply. Must have got lost between here and NZ. Trish, you were also sent one too apparently. And yes, this thread has resulted in quite a few enquiries. I just want you to come back to this thread once you get the product and give us your thoughts. I obviously think its great, but the whole dog odour question has been talked about a few times now, and I think this product is the answer over all those other sprays and nasty powder deodorisers.

I have never given Heidi a bath. She gets one once a year when she leaves the boarding kennel. If she rolled in something bad, I'd obviously bath her though.
-
I just sent them an email telling them that people from DOL are waiting for email communication, and if they had a phone number for ordering.
-
Thats odd kiwioz.... maybe send another email enquiring about whether they received your first one. I generally have them get back to me in a day or two at the most.
