  1. Glad it's cleared up a bit. If it comes back, maybe ask about colitis? This can also be one of those 'come and go' things. What colour are the stools?
  2. Is there ANY area that he could jump out of, or escape from? Our dog has access inside and out, via a dog door, but she was not left alone inside until she was about 10months old. Before then, she had the backyard, and kept herself amused and probably slept in a nice spot. Once I knew she wasn't a 'house-wrecker, I felt comfortable allowing her inside while I was out on short trips. It didn't take long for her to start assuming the dog door would be open, so I eventually left her to have whatever she chose.... inside or out. I do think it makes a difference leaving your dog inside if you are concerned about barking or whining from loneliness. If you leave the TV or radio on, and they have somewhere comfy, you will often get less barking from dogs that are inside. Less barking because of being alone, and of looking and smelling all those things/people passing by your house while you are out. By the way, Heidi always has a good morning exercise too, so a tired dog also makes a happy one as well. Just make sure you don't overdo the exercise on a young pup though.
  3. I think the penetrator plus can penetrate porous surfaces like concrete, pavers and timber, bedding and furnishings which gets deeper into the odour causing bacteria. It has the inclusion of hospital grade disinfectant which kills the bacteria. As far as the blocks go, the one I have in the toilet (peppermint) works well, as we have a small toilet. The one in the lounge room was near our dining table and originally I smelled it fairly strong, so I moved it to an area near my front door (we leave the door open lots). I think they work well... I cannot smell it as such, but I also don't have a massively stinky house anyway. And of course I am spraying lounges and carpet here and there twice a week or so with Odour go spray. I cannot really give a confident report on the blocks as I don't use them solely by themselves.
  4. Ok, here is the scanned leaflet that came with my stuff. Hope you can read it ok. The ones that most have ordered are called "Penetrator Plus"...... sounds almost rude hey. :D
  5. No, I don't have a contact number. I did email the supplier when he got lots of DOLers wanting the product a while back, but he said that he only does orders by email so that orders can be correctly placed and he just preferred it this way. I had trouble finding the blocks on the website too. I have a leaflet here with lots of information about this stuff. Would you like me to scan it and put it on here?
  6. I have no idea. I use it on bedding and other area's and have never noted any irritations, but you might be better off finding out directly from the company, or even find out why your dog is so smelly. What does she smell like? Winterpaws, this company also make odour blocks. I have a lavender one and a peppermint one. I use the peppermint in the toilet, and lavender is in my lounge room.
  7. Tucker Time, chicken, grated cheese, cottage cheese, sardines, peanut butter, sometimes mixed with a bit of dry kibble, and bits of cut up apple. Freezing it once your dog has got used to it is also good as it lasts a bit longer.
  8. I like the natural scent, it is fresh, maybe in a similar area to the Talc in some ways.
  9. You'll love the lavender, very nice and fresh. I do think the 5 litre is the way to go. My first one was the apple scent, and I'm nearly 16 or more months into it and still have a few months worth in the bottle concentrated.
  10. New thread on Best ever odour removal started with details to website. If you have this product and would like to tell us what you think, can you please put it in the new thread, so others can see.
  11. Decided to start another thread from the other one, as some people may not venture into it unless they read right to the end. This product is the best thing on earth. ;) if you want to eliminate any kind of pet odour, household odour etc. It seems that lots of people are having a great time spraying this natural product around their homes, lounges, mopping floors, beds, wiping baths, sinks, spraying mattresses ........... and the list goes on. This product is completely natural, and uses a unique blend of essential oils that naturally bond with odours and neutralises them. It is not a 'deodoriser', but a neutraliser. I have various 'flavours' at home to try out, and I will come on here again later to update you on my opinions of the scents I currently have. In the meantime, I'm just happy to pass on that I rate this product 100%, and I cannot imagine it won't solve any 'smell' issue anyone has. Link Odour Go Website There is a section specifically for pet odours, but the other area's have some different scent varieties available. As far as cost goes, the product is concentrated so a little bit goes a long way, and you will fill months worth of spray bottles by diluting with water. It is very cost effective.
  12. Corrie, I would say the Talc is a definite 'talc scent', so yes, it does smell powdery, in a fresh clean kind of way, not in a musty heavy way. I think I prefer the apple over the peppermint as a general household scent. Peppermint is great for bathrooms etc. Yeeaaahhh Fiona, you'll love both those 'flavours'. Let us know what you think. I don't have teenage sons, but I think your on to a good thing with the odour removal technique. I'm really after a Vanilla sample now....... make sure you all tell the supplier it was from VJB on DOL and he might send me a Vanilla sample. ;) Oh, and I think we need to have a new thread, because I've always wondered about whether people are missing out on this product because they don't read the thread all the way through. Maybe I'll start one and name it the most successful odour removal ever!!
  13. Thanks VJB - Ill purchase some urine off. I have been masking with BiCarb and vinegar, but it seems to be an issue at the moment. Mia is just so excitable and nervous that she wees anywhere. Alot. I am going to get the 5L lavender I think, might send off my order tomorrow.....quite excited actually. Cheers, Jacqui Yep, I think getting the actual urine smell away first would be a great help. Remember to dilute a fair bit though, or you'll nearly pass out. It's easy to just get carried away with spraying, which is fine diluted, but very overpowering straight from the bottle. You can make it any strength you like. Either way, it should last you a fair while.
  14. No, I've not tried the Vanilla scent, but would like to. I did send an email to supplier asking why the vanilla is not listed in the "pet odour section", and his response was that certain odours are known to bond with a different mix of scents, which offsets the offending odour.... (if that makes sense). Although he did say that if I really liked that particular scent, he doesn't think it would be a problem neutralising odours given that I'm a one dog household. So, go ahead and try the Vanilla. Then you can let us all know what you think.
  15. I think the Talc smells nice and fresh, as does the Lavender. There is also one called Natural which is a good choice too. I think so far these are my favourite, but then again, the Apple is nice too. Geez,,, doesn't seem like I can make up my mind. Um,,,, any one of the above 4 would be a good choice. Jacquilee81, I do think it would cover up the smell for a while, but I'm going to suggest you spray it heavily with a bottle of Urine Off or similar first, as this will break down the enzymes that are in the urine that give off the odour you are talking about. After that has been done, you would be able to freshen up with the Odour Go. I had to laugh about a month ago when our sewerage overflowed here. Disgusting for Hubby who had to get on some gloves and clean it out. As he was about to 'hurl' I said "Don't worry darling, I'll go and get the smelly stuff". Gave a good spray, undiluted, and the poor man nearly choked on overpowering scent (which was better than sewer though).
  16. Heidi use to worry me with the amount of bark chips she would eat. I would take them off her at any given opportunity and eventually that did my head in because it became a game for her. Even now, she will deliver herself to us, tail wagging merrily, and all she wants me to do is lift up her big lips and fetch out the bark chip. :D While she was young, they use to get eaten at times, but once she was a bit older, she started chewing and spitting, and we were relieved and less worried about her doing any damage to herself.
  17. Our dog shares the bed, even though she has her own perfectly good one next to us. She loves getting under the covers, and her head shares the pillow between me and hubby. Sometimes I find it quite funny, just watching her sleeping like a hairy human. She does take up a lot of the bed at times, and then twists and sleeps on her back with her legs in the air..... before flopping them down on top of my head. I would probably prefer she spent a little more time in her own bed, but all in all, she's super adorable and we love our snuggles and cuddles too much for me to ever want to miss out on it all together. I have taken to putting a single sheet across the top part of the bed over our usual bottom sheet. This way I can just grab the single top sheet and wash that every second day or so without having to do a total change of queen size bed linen. It is amazing how much hair travels down all these layers into the mattress though, and I too, regularly vacuum the mattress.
  18. Beautiful girl. So cute. She looks well and truly loved.
  19. Very good. Loved it..... put a big smile on my face.
  20. SecretKei, I have absolutely no idea. But, I guess if you dilute it quite a bit, you could always give it a go on part of the grass/plant and see what happens. It's not acid or anything too lethal. I cleaned my deck again today and washed it down with the Talc odour-go. I think this is one of my favourite scents, as well as the lavender one. The natural is also good. Haven't used much of the peppermint as yet, but mopped inside with the lemon, and have yet to use the musk.

    New Puppy

My dog won't eat out of metal/steel bowls at all. When we put her into boarding kennel, we've been asked to bring our own. Maybe your dog is worried about the sound of the bowl...?
  22. What a fab video. Loved it. I didn't think they looked worried at all.... lots of fun.
  23. Blended from over 30 natural essences Ozona products are non toxic, non allergenic, non flammable, non hazardous, biodegradable and safe around humans and animals. 16Paws, what a bummer about the spillage. You won't do that again I'm sure. Glad you like the lavender. I've been using this one a fair bit too, and I have the scent in my home from the "scent block" they sent me. It's pleasant.
  24. Well hopefully with some communications with the breeders, you will get some advice and support, and happy ending. Good luck, and hope all goes well, it must be very hard to deal with.
  25. :p :D :p ;) Excellent news...... it's great stuff.
