If you do not know that for a fact then just keep your misinformed advice to yourself. Blitzing around the forum posting in every thread with zero knowledge on anything and leaving chaos in your wake Alan - follow your vets advice and keep an eye on your pooch for things like increased salivation, restlessness, fatigue etc. Dr Bruce Fogel has a good book for home vet care which covers basic emergency procedures and Merck has also just produced a book. Both good but never a substitute for qualified advice If in doubt always always listen to your vet and not someone on the forum who is trying to rack up a record number of posts in a short amount of time How is saying call a vet giving bad advice?

Oh thought alananddora was looking for a pet poison hotline. Dogs react diffrerently to humans so the poisons information hotline won't be any use.

I can't find it  did you have any luck?

Just When I Thought I Had Toilet Training Mastered.......
Bellnollie replied to MsKatie's topic in Puppy Chat
I have a metal one for my pug (metal ones are more expensive, so I got a small one). I have a fabric one for my bulldog which i think I paid around $150 for it including freight, and it's a large one. It's kind of like a tent and zips up. -
Just When I Thought I Had Toilet Training Mastered.......
Bellnollie replied to MsKatie's topic in Puppy Chat
It may have been a one off episode. Bell poo'd all over the floor this morning and she's 2 and a half years old. She wasn't well and couldn't hold it in, so had no choice. I have a 12 month old pup who does well as long as he is on a lead whenever he isn't in his crate. I walk around the house with him on it and every hour I walk him out to the spot where I want him to wee. As soon as he is off his lead I see him sniffing around the house and I haven't gotten to him in time, but he's only been house trained for 6 days. He never pee's in his crate. Is your dog crate trained? It may solve the problem as they know if they wet their bedding in the crate, they are most likely to be laying in it till morning. OOps  question was already asked.. sorry -
we are starting the raw diet today
-
I haven't given her roo, but I figured it would be a nice raw meat.. I won't risk it :D moggy, if I ever find a miracle cure you will be the first to know :D
-
Phew I thought it was something serious :D he's 12 months old.

Has anyone ever seen a pimple in the roll on their pug? I went to clean out the nose roll on Ollie after his dinner and there is what looks like an actual pimple there :D it's pink like on a human with a white head on it, but I am too chicken to squeeze it. Would it be a pimple or something else?
-
I never knew dogs ate raw fruit and vegies :D I'll get it a go though.
-
Raw diet? as in raw minced meat, roo, chicken necks etc?

that Eye Envy stuff aint cheap wish I had a credit card.
-
She eats a non preservative kibble so it's not that. I will try the Eye Envy and then the boracic powder thanks for your help.

Any tips of removing my bulldogs tears stains? I went away in Feb and the person babysitting didn't clean them, they have been brown ever since, no matter how much I clean them... is there a groomer around that bleaches them? I have tried Alpha white and curash powder.

Introduction Of Resident Dog To New Dog
Bellnollie replied to Bellnollie's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
Ok, Bell thinks she owns the local walking area Just kidding.. I will get them both on leads and take them for a walk.. I hope the person selling the pup to me has a little time on her hands to help with the introduction -
Help Needed With Skin Problems
Bellnollie replied to Sheridan's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
My bulldog gets skin reactions which makes her fur fall out.. looks like mange.. only when she eats pet food high in artificial colouring and flavouring. I agree with the trying flaxeed oil, sardines and try a good kibble like Inova. I wouldn't bath twice a week either as it dries the skin by removing the natural oils which are there fro a reason. -
Want To Try A Prong Collar
Bellnollie replied to Jessca's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
OUCH that looks uncomfortabe. I have never seen or even heard of them before, but the way Bell pulls on her chain, it would probably be more comfortable for her. I need to get another trainer out for her me thinks. -
Poor old boy.. I am watching this thread too.
