  3. You dont mean the Mighty Quinn by Manfred Mann do you?
  4. thanks T. She is just exquisite, but sadly too small to show. I dont mind because she's my pet, but I think she could have done well in the ring if she was bigger, she's a delight to look at. Now I have some photos of another puppy, not related by blood but sort of part of the family. This is Willow, she is from imported parents. She's not living with me but will be a regular visitor. 5F6A8486dppt by kirislin, on Flickr Lovely strong jaw, something that is lacking in alot of Australian IGs 5F6A8489dppt by kirislin, on Flickr She's got attitude too. 5F6A8496dppt by kirislin, on Flickr 5F6A8508dppt by kirislin, on Flickr 5F6A8656dppt by kirislin, on Flickr 5F6A8657dppt by kirislin, on Flickr 5F6A8658dppt by kirislin, on Flickr 5F6A8678dppt by kirislin, on Flickr 5F6A8679dppt by kirislin, on Flickr
  5. Secret yesterday, she's 8 months old now. 5F6A8523dppt by kirislin, on Flickr
  6. He was, he and Matt Ryan won GOLD!! He lived to 36 years old. I've just realised he and my own Kibah died within a few days of each other.
  7. One of my sisters named her cat Kibah after the same horse! Far out!
  8. No need for help anymore, all the puppies died.
  9. Can't you just keep them all forever? They're so beautiful. I think I might like the dark faced ones with no white, although I'm not sure. they're all so damn cute. Is that a zucchini flower they're playing with? Cardboard boxes are a great toy for them too, especially if it once contained chicken, which I suspect that one did.
  10. This is a really good clear indication, there's no mistaking it.
  11. I'm hoping someone can help with a foster mother. I know of a litter of puppies that were pulled out of the mother when the owners brought her in to be speyed. They were obviously full term because they've survived but the owners of the mother didn't want them so the vet nurses have been hand raising them. I haven't seen the puppies but I'm told they're underweight so I am wondering if anyone's got a bitch who would accept 5 puppies. They are a small breed (or mixed breed) possibly Chihuahua x and are about a week old now. SE suburbs of Melbourne. Please send me a PM if you can help.
  12. Lovely to see them being such buddies. :D
  13. I dont know the reason people surrender them. I imagine the dogs were doing something the owners weren't expecting or prepared for.
  14. would it be worth contacting the breed club or Husky rescue to ask what the main reason is for Huskies being surrendered?
  15. they are fantastic!! The expressions you've captured. It must be such fun watching them play. It makes me smile just looking at the photos. You lucky duck.
  16. Even though it's sunny it's still chilly outside today, so you have to snuggle up to keep warm. Whippet brothers Puck and Tag and mother and daughter team Italian Greyhounds Neko and Secret trying to get their daily dose of vitamin D in the winter sun. 5F6A8474dppt by kirislin, on Flickr 5F6A8475dppt by kirislin, on Flickr 5F6A8476dppt by kirislin, on Flickr 5F6A8477dppt by kirislin, on Flickr 5F6A8478dppt by kirislin, on Flickr 5F6A8479dppt by kirislin, on Flickr
  17. Neko's puppies are calendar stars. Each year the IG club of WA asks for photos to be submitted for their calendar which they use to raise money for IG rescue. I submitted this one and they've used it for the cover. 5F6A6180dppt by kirislin, on Flickr
  18. My sister had 3 marauding roosters she called Rape, Pillage and Plunder.
