  1. Tell him to give Centitout a ring when the time is right and have a chat with her Thanks AshleyB - I am currently training our 18 month old kelpie bitch so I assume a male bloodhound WILL be very different - the instructor at the Obedience club I go to said to bring it out and he will work with me - he says it is just a different approach but it is great to hear about someone who has succeeded with a bloodhound
  2. sounds like the 10 year olds in my class casowner - I promise you lots of squishy cuddles - and as much drool as we can spare - lots of it I assure you ;) Sounds like I might need it
  3. But surely all that slobber would cool you down in the hot weather ;) I do like the name Elwood Wasn't planning on showing him - going to obedience train him (apparently this will be an intersting task - oh well - never been one to turn down a challenge )
  4. Casowner - we will have to meet up for you to have your fix of bloodhound cuddles - I can't see another DOLer suffer so much when I have the perfect little squishy bundle to help them feel better ;) I have a funny feeling he will be called Earl - still thinking though :D

  13. Thanks JS - she is lovely - she snoozes her days away on the couch - with the occasional break to eat and be annoyed by Rosie Ravyk - it really catches the hopeful look - no bl**dy remorse at all

  17. Sitting contentedly at the computer after a lovely meal of pork snitzel and chips - a small rattle and a blur of black and brown fur........yup - the pup has counter surfed the last bit of snitzel!!! The old dog sits at the kitchen door and looks appealingly up at my OH and gets ....the last 2 pieces of bread......searches hopefully through them and grudgingly eats them - then continues to lie hopefully at the kitchen door. OH (feeling guilty) goes looking for treats for the old dog - meanwhile pup has been banished outside and is peeking hopefully in the door .......... ...and she then has the cheek to come in and sit and look hopefully up at OH for a treat .... ..the absolute cheek of some dogs!!!
  18. Hope Oscar heals up quickly and regains his bounce We will be there at the next one
  19. Going to Pei all over the rest of us :D Just as well they are such nice dogs Looking forward to meeting him
  20. The dog park we go to has a childrens playground as part of it and - especially in nice weather - we sometimes have groups of parents and small children coming in - so to make it easier and more enjoyable for all we tossed around the idea of erecting some temporary fencing to split the park in half so that the dogs and kiddies could all have fun . This was the first time we used it and it worked well Mr Wilson is still a puppy but that didn't stop him getting in on it all - absolutely no fear at all - even when he got rolled when wrestling
  21. Absolutely - the more the merrier Here's the link which has all the dates etc adelaidemeets
