I shall make sure it is placed at the back of the table - away from hungry doggies - or else I shall set Pele to guard it Thanks for the offer of help too -

I don't think either of you need to worry - Earl will probably eat his crate and then run amuck *LOL* -

I am sure Pele will be willing to supervise and ensure it all gets eaten Secret Kei - I have a bloodhound - I am going to need several towels The trip there should be fun with all that food packed up in the boot anf the dog in the back seat - he may well chew his way through the seat to get to it Note to self - wear clothes that don't show drool -

Urgently Need Behaviouralist In South Australia
MsKatie replied to Kirty's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
I have heard good things about Mark Singer -
It is such a sad story - and seeing the pups from Vic on this unregistered breeders site made me very sad. As a new bloodhound owner I am just learning about the breed but my respect for those of you who breed is immense - I love the fact I can look at Earls pedigree and talk to Centitout about the dogs in it - that knowledge is so valuable and I feel much more confident with Earl knowing I have her backup.

Confused - Friend Wants To Stay With Toddler
MsKatie replied to Eileen's topic in General Dog Discussion
My mum is here at the moment and we have told her that if she is home and either OH or myself isn't home then the dogs are to stay outside - they would be outside anyway as thats where they are when we aren't home but she - much as she loves dogs - is just too small and frail to have our 41 kg bloodhound pup inside with her - especially as he is only 6 months old and can be very stubborn. I know that if I wasn't strict about this then she would be too soft and let them inside When my family come to visit the dogs life goes on as normal (my sister isn't too much of a dog lover but - hey - she puts up with them)- but none of them have small children and the dogs sleep in our room at night -
Hunterhound - can I swap one of my existing children instead Centitout - if I can help in any way with your predicament at the moment let me know - don't know what I could do but if you think of anything

Run free Spanner - be free from pain and happy once more Poor boy - at least - as you said - he had a caring hand on him to help him as he went
-
Came in for an update - what a damn shame about this boy - i totally understand the concern with agression - they are such large and powerful dogs that this would be a real concern. Centitout - well done for taking the time and caring enough to do what is best for all - it is sad that it sounds like this boy is one who can't be helped but thank goodness he went to you and not some inexperienced owner - that could have been a tragedy in the making onstillnflash - well done to you too for putting in the time and effort to make sure this boy got the best chance possible

Do You Feed Your Dogs Morning, Night Or Both.
MsKatie replied to ~Myschafis~'s topic in General Dog Discussion
I feed both of mine twice a day - one is a large breed pup so is actually still on 3 feeds a day - also a bloat precaution - the other is almost 2 and gets 2 meals a day - one am and one pm -
